Won this 13yr old case! Finally🥹 From a notice that claimed I owed multiple crores in taxes, it ended with IT dept saying they owe me ₹2 🙄 Lakhs ₹ + countless hours spent all these years. Process is the punishment.

One of the Income Tax notices has now reached the show cause notice phase and after rejecting all previous responses, today we have a video conference (VC) with the IT officer. Anybody here done a VC with the IT department? How does it work? Helps resolve the case faster?
