@nikosunity @atrupar The disingenuous shit you guys pump is off the chart! You act as though you don’t remember that just a few weeks ago, NYC required two IDs to get hired to shovel snow! If you’re too freaking stupid to realize THAT is what she’s talking about, you really shouldn’t be voting!

@atrupar Shoveling snow in New York City now requires ID? Republicans really do just say things and hope nobody in the room has ever been outside. New York City has enough problems without Katie Britt hallucinating a Department of Sidewalk Identification.

@atrupar Are you guys really this stupid or do you all have Alzheimer’s? She’s clearly talking about how New York City required two IDs to hire people to shovel snow a month ago! Because, in order to fill out the I-9, you need two IDs!!

@IKilledUrHubris @Katy_Faust The fact that you have no idea of the significance of that shows that you have never struggled with any type of infertility. Refunding is the least of their worries.

Another fertility clinic has “lost embryos.” Lost CHILDREN. This is what happens when we manufacture human life, freeze it, and store it in tanks. When babies become inventory, inventory gets mishandled. This is a near weekly offering in my #IVF Google alert. And it's the obvious outcome of a system that treats the smallest humans as objects to be created, selected, traded, stored, and discarded. At some point, we have to stop asking how to make this industry safer and start asking why it exists at all.

How does this man get to continue breathing the same air as everyone else after being found absolutely guilty? Death penalty all the way. I don’t need my tax dollars funding this scum’s health care, food, lodging, etc. nor do I need my tax dollars funding private prisons who line the pockets of politicians and other 1%ers

🚨 HOUSE OF HORRORS. A 5-YEAR-OLD GIRL STARVED TO DEATH WHILE FOOD SAT OUTSIDE HER DOOR. Robert Buskey Jr., a 35-year-old former super heavyweight MMA fighter from Schenectady, New York, pled guilty to second-degree murder after the horrific death of his 5-year-old daughter Charlotte. Prosecutors say he locked the little girl in a bedroom with no food, no water, and no human contact. When police found her in April 2024, she was already gone. The autopsy found zero food in her stomach, and her body was so dehydrated her eyes had sunken into her skull. And the cruelty didn’t stop there. The house was stocked with food. Boxes were stacked right outside the door he locked her behind. Investigators say Buskey even reinforced the lock with tape after Charlotte figured out how to open it. His 3-year-old son was found alive but severely malnourished—kept in a makeshift cage in the dining room. Both children tested positive for cocaine. Meanwhile, it sure doesn’t look like HE skipped any meals while his children starved to death behind a locked door. Buskey now faces 27 years to life, with sentencing scheduled for March 27, 2026. How does a grown man cage his own kids, starve a 5-year-old to death, and still only face 27 years to life? What kind of monster does that to their own children? 💔

@themoviedadsc @minarchis1 No, it’s a moronic take! Make them care about it. Have them track personal finances and the kids with the best outcome get pizza, or get to skip a test, or whatever. To just plain say we shouldn’t do that because “they don’t care about it“ is idiotic.

I think once they reach the point where they can't move around on their own ChevroLegs anymore and have to wear car skirts as a cover-up, yeah, safe to say they've given up on themselves and will try to eat you if you point out they are most certainly killing themselves. I have a different question - what ship has a shower that can accomodate Free Willy, or in this case Willemina?

Legit curious. On a cruise. Saw a woman who was probably 500 pounds, easy. Insanely fat. Needed a scooter to get around. Has 6 plates of food in front of her. Do these folks just,..not care that they are morbidly obese?

@jonbrooks My wife and I are 50 and have no regrets about not having kids. We are already discussing which island to retire to, and you aren't doing that with kids and grandkids. Take one look at your federal government and ask what future a child born today has.

@partridgeTX @jonbrooks In some cases, but I know smart, capable young people who would make good parents who have bought into whatever bullshit and are choosing not to have children. It breaks my heart, because in the long run, they will really regret this choice.

@cityoftucson @TucsonRomero @GovernorHobbs This being an investment is such wonderful news! I figured it would be an expense. When is this development expected to be profitable & pay back everything that's been invested into it to the taxpayers who were forced to invest in it?

Tucson Mayor Regina Romero (@TucsonRomero), Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs (@GovernorHobbs) , and other dignitaries last week celebrated the start of the long-planned rehabilitation of Tucson House, a milestone in the City of Tucson’s Thrive in the 05 Transformation Plan and the Mayor and Council’s continued investment in affordable housing. The project will modernize the 17-story public housing building, originally built in 1963, with upgrades to aging infrastructure, safety systems, and accessibility. The work is funded in part by a $50 million Choice Neighborhoods Implementation grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The property will be reconfigured into 358 modern, affordable apartment homes for older adults ages 55 and older, with upgraded systems, new community and amenity spaces, and enhanced outdoor areas. Work is expected to be completed in summer 2028. #SafeCity #CityofTucson

@BTCBreadMan I think it depends on your situation. I got married, we immediately combined our finances & I never regretted it. We were young and starting a life together. If I got remarried (my spouse died) I would not combine all of my finances; my adult child will inherit when I die

When I got married 15 years ago the thought of not completely merging our finances did not even occur to me. It just seemed like an obvious no-brainer that married couples 100% share their financial situation.

@Wbtesq @RepMGS @atrupar Yes I have my Birth Certificate in a file along with my passport. Married women just need to add marriage license to the docs if they changed their name when married. Get busy rounding up the docs you should already have before next fall, you'll need them to vote...no big deal.

End3of6Days9 (Helen) 🇺🇸
This mom gets the estimate for her teenage son's braces and her reaction is pure, relatable shock. She sits there staring at the paper: over $6,000 for full top-and-bottom braces. "What? Like who can afford over $6,000 for braces?" she says, voice cracking with disbelief. Her son needs them for an overbite and just one or two crooked teeth—"his teeth aren't even that crooked"—but it's still full treatment. She thought maybe it was $1,900 or something (perhaps a down payment), but nope, the numbers are real. He's got two insurances (one through mom, one through dad), yet the estimate only factors in dad's. She hopes hers kicks in more, especially since her daughter only needed top braces before. But even so, she's floored: "Oh my god, this can't be real. This can't be real. Parents, is this real?" This is the everyday reality hitting so many families right now. A basic need like fixing your kid's teeth turns into a massive financial gut punch—thousands out of pocket, even with insurance, while you're already dealing with life’s other curveballs. Kids shouldn't have to go without straight teeth and confidence because orthodontics costs more than a used car. Parents shouldn't have to choose between braces and bills. Who's been hit with a braces quote that made you do a double-take? Or is this just what we Americans have to deal with in 2026?
