@RealJPeoples720 Every time the dealer shuffles the cards, the cards have never once in the history of the planet been in the same order. I'm sure the dealer "washing" the cards makes you get dealt better hands and hold against draws more often

Convince me otherwise: I’m done with online poker. And before anyone says “variance,” believe me — I know variance. I know coolers. I know bad beats. I know what it feels like to get your money in good and watch the river punch you in the mouth. That’s poker. But this didn’t feel like poker. After withdrawing about a month ago, I gave @ClubWPTGold another shot and deposited again. Within maybe 25 total hands — not 25 orbits, 25 hands — I watched the same movie play over and over. Big raise. Flush draw calls. Flush gets there. Premium hand. Weak suited trash sticks around. Flush gets there. Flop a set with pocket 3s. Club draw on board. I re-raise all in. Flush gets there. K9 in the big blind. Flop top pair. Spade draw out there. Bet big. Get called. Shove. Flush gets there. At a certain point, you stop feeling like you’re playing opponents and start feeling like you’re playing the software. And here’s the part that bothered me even more: I sensed something was off and tried to withdraw my deposit. They wouldn’t let me take my money back. So now I’m not just running bad — I’m stuck playing on a platform I no longer trusted. That’s a terrible feeling for any poker player. Maybe it’s all variance. Maybe the RNG is fine. Maybe I just ran into the most perfectly timed flush-draw parade in recent memory. But poker is built on trust. If the player doesn’t trust the shuffle, the game is already dead. That’s why I’ll take live poker every day of the week. Give me the felt. Give me the chips. Give me the dealer. Give me the table talk. Give me the stare-downs, the timing tells, the pressure, the heartbeat, the human element. Poker was never meant to be a cold algorithm hidden behind a screen. It was meant to be played face-to-face, hand-to-hand, mind-to-mind. One day, when I build something in this space, it won’t be built for 20-table bots, silent grinders, or people staring dead-eyed at pixels. It’ll be built for the real game. The game with tension. The game with presence. The game with soul. Live poker forever. Online poker? I’m out.

@CMRosenglick @90scoot66 @Smackems818 Crypto is the exact same limit as bank accounts to my knowledge (never used banks) and if someone sends their money to a KYCd exchange and doesn’t report the income that’s their own fault. And it’s definitely not the reason ACR bottlenecks withdrawals

Señor Tilt
Señor Tilt@senortilt·
$1m per round blackjack. $6m max win for slots. I am proud to announce that @MonkeyTilt will offer the highest ever limits for our VIPs across table games and slot machines, thanks to our new risk sharing partnership with iBankroll. Why is this deal a game changer? MonkeyTilt has raised over $80M from investors like Pantera Capital, Polychain, PokerGo, and myself! However, we have always had to earmark a large portion of our balance sheet to guarantee immediate payouts to winners. Moving forward, this risk will be assumed by our partners, freeing up our capital for growth. What most people don't realize is 99% of these startup casinos do NOT HAVE A BANKROLL. Some take $100K/hand action knowing they can't cover the downside. They're freerolling their customers. Ask your favorite casino what their daily withdrawal limit is. Then ask us. Hint: we don’t have one. This partnership allows us to focus our resources on building the best all-in-one speculation platform in the world. We started with casino and sports. Soon, you will see collectibles. And before the summer is over, we will be rolling out many more ways to play. We are not here to build a Stake clone like everyone else. We are building the first social-driven, everything platform for risk taking. The ultimate playground for speculation. And thanks to this partnership, we have an even bigger balance sheet to take that on. Our team is the best it's ever been, the product is the best it's ever been, and now our bankroll is the largest it’s ever been. This is the first of many exciting announcements we will make in the coming months as we strive to build the best possible experience for our customers. Shoutout #TiltMafia With love, Señor 🐒

Well that is the last time I will be shopping at @currys bought a laptop from them a couple of years ago (bought countless things since) I have a fault with my laptop. I’m told by the customer service team that they can’t find no record of the sale. However. They have been taking £8.00 a month out of my account for the service agreement since I bought it. Apparently there is nothing they can do. Oh and I won’t be getting my money back. Absolute disgrace!! Livid isn’t the word right now. Trading standards Tuesday morning me thinks.

If someone can explain to me how @SamSoverel is playing poker at the Venetian in Las Vegas yesterday while also trading on @Polymarket, I would love to hear it. And I am asking for legal answers only. Is this even allowed in TOS @shayne_coplan? If there is a LEGAL way, please share. Otherwise, arrest Sam.

How does @SamSoverel wager on @polymarket while also playing poker tournaments in Nevada at the same time? Isn’t this illegal? Why can’t I use polymarket as a Nevada resident but he can trade millions? @shayne_coplan @repdinatitus @NevadaGCB @FBILasVegas @FBI This is not fair.

Just boarded my flight. Checked my seat, double checked it. Yt woman sitting there. I played dumb. I asked the flight attendant, could you help me find my seat? She looked at the woman and said ma’am, what seat does your ticket say? She said “oh is this not C?” Now you know you didn’t pay for a window seat! 😒The flight attendant handled it because, I’m not arguing. 🤭

@drewlevin How about instead of people spam flashing you actually take action against soft inters and people who go 1/18 effectively running it down but fighting in a side line before they inevitably die. I’d love to know riots stance of how wasting flash is worse for the game than this.

I did exactly this on exactly that salary The luxury condos are more expensive than you think. The massages are more expensive than you think. The food is overrated. You quickly learn America has the best food in the world. The streets smell of sewage. The traffic is extremely congested and dangerous. Crossing the street is a nightmare. As a White man you will be constantly asked to buy something from every buisness you walk past on narrow unpaved sidewalks next to people who walk 10x slower than you Plus as a foreigner you need to find a way to stay in Thailand longterm which also costs a lot of money. Thailand is a third world country and any part of it that is not extremely poor like the tourist destinations (Phuket) are pretty expensive. It is fun to visit even for a few months but to uproot your life and move there longterm is NOT worth it. You will miss America. You will return home.

$5,000/month USD is around $155,000/month in Thailand. That’s luxury condo, daily massages, great food, zero stress. You’re not rich in the West… but you live like a king in Thailand. Now you understand why people are moving there.

You know what’s annoying? Having to tip for a service you do not even want. 1. I travelled all this way carrying my bag, why do I want to give the bell hop money to bring it to me 20 minutes after I check in when I can have it right away carrying it on my own? 2. I go to the restaurant bathroom and wash my hands, I don’t want a guy to pour soap in my hands and hand me a towel. I can handle those tasks thank you. If I go to the bathroom multiple times over a dinner, am I on credit for the first tip or do I have to pay for each soap drop and towel he hands me? I don’t know anyone who needs this, or wants this. Do you? I’m more than happy to tip for services that benefit me in some way, but do I really need to tip the guy who says “Where you headed” at the taxi stand and opens the door for me? How much is that gonna cost me? Comment with other tips you pay for services you don’t event want, I’m curious!

solvers tell you to NEVER do this in gto land, but it absolutely prints. say we have the nuts on the river. flush came in on the turn, villain check called a small bet. villain is capped: very few strong hands, mostly top pair or worse. if you bet tiny (30-40% pot), they make crying calls with hands that would've folded. so why isn't this a thing in gto? betting small reopens the action. but live players don't checkraise thin for value or bluff enough to punish you. so exploit it: when villain is capped and overfolding, tiny bet extracts max value. baby bet prints.

So now it’s the tournament organizer’s fault when bankrolls get crushed? What about bankroll management? What about not playing the event? What about selling action? Where’s the self-accountability? If you choose to play and you go broke, there’s exactly one person responsible. And it’s not the tournament organizer.
Nadya Magnus@NadyaKGB

2/4 It’s not good for poker and it’s not sustainable. It’s a lottery. I’m not saying it because I played and didn’t cash. I’m saying it because I’ve seen people’s dreams crushed, bankrolls vanished and mindsets destroyed.
