If we look at the way the Kuki narco-terrorist killers have responded to the abduction of the 6 Liangmai Naga pastors and villagers, it is becoming increasingly clear that all six people may have already been eliminated, and now their handlers can no longer sustain the web of lies built through deceptive press notes by Kuki Inpi, KNF’s pretentious statements, and the deceitful narratives flooding social media platforms, including Facebook and other channels. Now they have reportedly begun reaching out to influential individuals, including high-level church leaders, and even hiring private helicopters to broker some form of “peace deal” before the fate of the 6 Liangmai Naga civilians is officially revealed. What is equally disturbing is seeing certain individuals, who openly harbour hatred against Nagas and Meeteis, suddenly speaking about “peaceful resolution.” To many, this appears no different from crocodile tears, or like the serpent that bites the very hand that fed it milk every day. History has repeatedly taught the Indigenous peoples of Manipur who they are dealing with. If the civilian Kuki population genuinely wishes to move toward a peaceful future, they must take a firm stand against the narco-terrorism that has grown around and over them. Otherwise, it will become increasingly difficult for people to distinguish between innocent civilians and those enabling or sheltering violent elements. My only fear now is how the Liangmai Nagas and the Indigenous peoples of Manipur will respond when the truth about the fate of the six Liangmai pastors and civilians finally comes out. The Bible reminds us in Numbers 32:23: “Be sure your sin will find you out.” And in Matthew 5:9, it says, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.” Those who spill the blood of innocent pastors and civilians in cold blood may escape men for a while, but no one escapes the judgment of truth, justice, and God forever.

Even journalists went missing after venturing into ChinKuki infested areas! No one knows what happened to Atom Samarendra Singh and Yumkhaibam Kirankumar Singh. They were one of the Meitei victims to disappear after ChinKukis took them hostage on 6 May 2023. The two journalists had driven to the Saheibung area, adjacent to the Manipur Olympic Park, bordering the foothills of Kangpokpi district. Their cellphones were switched off after they went missing. Till date, they are untraceable and are assumed to be dead. It is heartbreaking to see Thadou church leaders brutally murdered in Kangpokpi.
