@tabasir_ali @livetime_fe Of course, as I said, you think you're smarter than the collective wisdom of the voters. Which is what I mean when I say you don't believe in democracy. The problem is, democracy is what provides you protection. Imagine if people you don't like, didn't believe in democracy.

We have NO right to criticise those who voted for Trump and Modi any more. Never again will I climb on that high horse that TN is better than the other states because we are a sensible, knowledgeable crowd. This election has represented us otherwise

@Oye_Jahazi Tamil Nadu is doing well exactly because Stalin is losing. They keep their servants in check and change them often. That's the recipe to do well as a state.

We know why Mamata and others are losing. But why Stalin? Tamil Nadu is doing well on all economic indicators, yet people voted for inexperienced candidates led by an actor. Stalin is trailing even on his own seat as of now. Crazy stuff.

@needacofee @AGM9089 No, it's not better in any sense. That amount in Canada means you have to find another job on the side just to survive, forget about raising family. Anyways cleaning toilets is a much better profession than smuggling drugs. Are you going to defend that as well?

@AGM9089 I respect everyone's profession because we need everyone but it's a habit of indians to mock people easily who left their home to raise their families. Just in case a cleaner has a better lifestyle than a government job holder in India.

@TajinderBagga Except he didn’t criticise them. He didn’t say Khalistan doesn’t exist, he said this isn’t the place for protest. Nothing more.

Indians have a peculiar obsession with "poverty porn" masquerading as humbleness. I still don't understand how providing your family with comfort can be equated with arrogance. You'd have to be a dimwit to deliberately put your family through struggle and hardship. Imagine having money yet sending your wife on a bus where she could be groped. How is that "humble"? You're just stingy and lack any sense of protecting your loved ones. At the end of the day, India is a socialist society masquerading as capitalist. On another note, Has it occurred to this dumb bum that a foreigner might use an auto-rickshaw simply for the experience?

The Cultural difference between Indians and the white People.. He is Heinrich Klassen, He earns around 30 Crore from IPL every year. He earns around another 8-10 Crores from other Leagues. He is currently in Hyderabad with his Wife and Daughter. Today, he wanted to take his family for a ride and he booked an Auto . He could have easily hired a luxury car for his family but he still chose to travel by auto in 40 Degrees. In India, if someone earns 10 Lakh Per month, He/she will never sit in an auto because that may hurt their Status in the society!!

@DanielBordmanOG Deported to where? We definitely don't want either the kidnapper or the judge. Canada is a big country, find a corner for them and push them there.

Never mind the fact that kidnapping is a crime in every state in India. I am amazed that any kidnapper could make the argument that he is less safe in a society that accepts his habit of kidnapping children. Any judge who buys this should be deported

@ABsay_ek Nothing is milavat. Eat your food in peace and stay away from social media scare mongering. The quality of food available today far exceeds whatever was available 20 years ago.

You try to eat simple clean food but everything feels milavat these days. Milk, fruits, even basic items. Unless you’re a hardcore carnivore or growing everything yourself, you have no option.

@arunv2808 What is the damage though? Like UV burns or something? If it's just darkening, it's a feature not a bug. Darkening protects the skin from UV rays. Don't apply any sunscreen if it's just darkening, otherwise when you don't apply you will have terrible UV burn.

@gauravsabnis Only an idiot would think that Gujaratis are running these businesses without people throwing money at them. People are flocking to your business in your daydream while for gujjus, it's reality. Watch and learn.

@narayananh You don't know everyone in India. You know people from upper middle class for whom the data would be similar to the trend we see for China. For the rest of India, it will continue to grow, slow and steady.

Is this true for India? I don't think so. I know what I'm saying is anecdotal, but every guy I know is significantly taller than their parents, and most of the girls are taller than their mothers and almost as tall as their fathers.
Dan Go@CoachDanGo

Over the past 34 years the average Chinese man became, on average, 3 inches taller than his grandfather. But entire population can't rewrite its DNA in 35 years. So what made them grow so fast? The answer might surprise you.

@JustMariner Not sure if you know, but Indian Army soldiers are not responsible for airport security. Also, they are not generalists in "security". They are trained for very specific roles as per their regiments.

Domino’s has come up with their first cafe concept - Cafe Domino’s Though the interiors are too underwhelming but I am very confused about the pricing strategy. Is this pricing feasible with the current coffee prices? People who are into coffee business can shed some light?

If I want to retire in India and want this, where should I end up? 1. Coastal city because pollution will be low 2. No danger of language warriors - I don’t intend to get into anyone’s way 3. Decent infra 4. At least 2 good hospital within 20-30kms 5. Airport within 2-3hr drive; railways station a major plus I can think of these: 1. Vizag 2. North Goa (Ponda, Mapusa) 3. Bhubaneswar (not coastal but you get the drift) 4. Udupi 5. Mangalore What else?
