DMK has its flaws, no doubt. But replacing it with narcissistic, apolitical clownery is a terrible call. Imagine the state run by Aadhav Arjuna, Bussy Anand, and Rajmohan. People will regret it soon.

A vast majority of TVK candidates have lived their last 45 days on Instagram/Whatsapp Reels. They had tea and bajjis at roadside stalls, hugged a few seniors, and played cricket, all for the camera and the "likes." Most have never actually lifted a finger for the people ever. This is the brutal, unfiltered outcome of this wave: popularity over performance and optics over record.

Beauty of Democracy - The entire Lottery Martin family wins as a pack across parties! The whole Martin family joined different parties so that, in case of emergency, they can help each other and also get help from all parties. Below is the impressive electoral performance of the Martin family: Leema Rose (wife of Senior Martin) - won as an ADMK candidate. Jose Charles Martin (son of Senior Martin) - won as an LJK candidate. Aadhav Arjuna (son-in-law of Senior Martin) - won as a TVK candidate. Hello democracy, are you kiddin me?

@livetime_fe All leftists show their true colours they lose. They essentially don't believe in democracy. They feel somehow they can decide better than the wisdom of crowds.

We have NO right to criticise those who voted for Trump and Modi any more. Never again will I climb on that high horse that TN is better than the other states because we are a sensible, knowledgeable crowd. This election has represented us otherwise

He’s quick to use kids for his vote bank, but where’s the responsibility? If he really cared, he would’ve told his fans by now Accept tomorrow’s result peacefully. No violence, no chaos, Especially for the kutties and their parents to stay alert. But no he’s too busy dreaming of the CM chair to bother with a reality check. Parents, listen up your kids future is in your hands, not his. This is a man who didn't even blink when 41 people died in Karur. Don't wait for him to lead. You be the ones to teach your children that winning and losing are both part of the game. Stay woke ..

Do you think Vijay will never be able to politicise his fans? @WriterRavikumar
Dr D.Ravikumar MP@WriterRavikumar

Vijay is not another Jayalalithaa Senior Tamil journalist Samas @writersamas has written an article arguing that Vijay cannot be compared to MGR. He regards him instead as another Jayalalithaa. But he is not another Jayalalitha. It is customary to view Vijay’s political support base through the lens of his personal charisma; however, it ought rather to be understood from the perspective of the crowd itself. This crowd was not created by Vijay; rather, Vijay is merely the present object of worship for that crowd. What we are witnessing is an irrational mob. Its roots lie not merely in opposition to the DMK; it stands opposed to every form of logic inherent in contemporary democratic politics, having grown thoroughly disillusioned with the existing democratic system of governance. Its craving is not for the acquisition of power; on the contrary, it surrenders whatever meagre power it possesses to its heroic icon, prostrating itself in total submission. Bringing this crowd within the structured framework of a political party is no easy task; it will not accept any form of hierarchical leadership. As far as this crowd is concerned, it accepts only Vijay—and nothing else. Transforming this mob into a cohesive political party will be the primary challenge Vijay will face. This is because he will be compelled to construct the very party structure—complete with the hierarchies—that this mob has already rejected. — Ravikumar

@WriterRavikumar @writersamas Vijay’s rise is coming at a time when people are far more politically aware, frustrated with traditional parties, and actively looking for change. It’s not that people are rejecting democracy they’re rejecting how it’s been practiced.

Look at the unfolding of events !! 1. Bro starts a party 2. Bro was provided Y category security even without asking - by the same logic why was Kamal not provided? 3. Karur incident happens and the matter is hurriedly referred to CbI enquiry through a legal process (based on advice?) and every care is made to ensure he is not named as one among prime accused but just a witness 4. Every media screams even his smallest move like travelling from one house to other house 5. Hardly does any campaigning but displays massive crowds in little campaigns he did which is obviously inorganic 6. Contests elections and one exit pollster gives him an unbelievably massive mandate 7. At the same time reduces the 2nd largest state party and alliance partner of ruling party in the centre to 20-30 Do you not see a proxy operator who is using him as a puppet to capture TN which otherwise logically is impossible to capture through elections? If you cannot, then you can proudly call yourself as Anil

Karur is a government failure, simply blaming a convenient person won't suppress the reality. If anyone touched Vijay and landed him in jail, after Karur they would've lost the election landslide to Vijay. Every party knows that it's not his fault, a stampede accident could have been avoided only by the government by efficient functioning. Think critically on the accident instead of the herd mentality that the paid DMK media narrative wants you to believe. JJ period literally burnt a bus with students inside, thinking she is saviour is absolute rubbish. That's murder, this is an accident. Learn first who you are supporting.

Tamil Nadu’s political spine hasn’t just softened; it has evaporated. This isn’t a postmortem of an election, it’s a postmortem of leadership, and I am pained even writing it. The fundamental obligation of a political party in a democracy is to protect the dignity of the state and its stakeholders. Instead, Tamil Nadu is witnessing a collective, pathetic surrender to a cinematic shadow. After the Karur episode, if Jayalalithaa were alive, Vijay would have been sent to a cell the same day. If Kalaignar were alive, he would have orchestrated a masterclass in narrative control, involving arrests, anticipatory bails, and the total dismantling of Vijay’s credibility before he could even reach a microphone. For his part, MKS was too soft, and frankly, nobody wanted to touch Vijay, likely because they were unsure of their ability to control the fallout or their ability to control the narrative. With the efflux of time, the matter moved to CBI. EPS, meanwhile, displayed a level of weakness that is frankly embarrassing for an Opposition Leader. Defending Vijay after the Karur incident wasn't "statesmanlike", it was a white flag. Begging for "big party alignments" like a jilted lover proves the ADMK is currently a ship without a captain. He was seen literally begging TVK for an alliance, and TVK possibly used that time to their advantage. What happened at Karur wasn't just a political lapse, it was a cold-blooded violation of the sanctity of human life. As families were shattered and the ground was stained with the blood of the innocent, Vijay’s response or more accurately, his deafening silence, served as a masterclass in clinical apathy. To not even acknowledge the dead is to strip them of their humanity one last time. It reveals a man who doesn't see a grieving electorate, but a disposable backdrop for his own PR. In the face of such tragedy, his indifference wasn't just a failure of leadership; it was a betrayal of the very soul of the people he claims to represent. He was brutally ruthless and heartless. I am sure the TVK Bhakts will troll here, and I truly don't care. The fact that only Seeman had the "stones" to speak up, despite his own exhausting "brother/enemy" seesaw, is the ultimate indictment of the dravidian majors. Every other party in Tamil Nadu acted as if they were auditioning for a supporting role in his movie instead of governing a state and standing up for its people. These parties didn’t just fail their mandates; they failed the very idea of Tamil pride. They should hang their heads in shame.
