The premium- Vande Bharat Express derails! Derailment of 22225 CSMT Solapur Vande Bharat. One trolley of the fourth coach of the train going from CSMT to Solapur Vande Bharat Train derailed on Diamond crossing while entering into Pune Station Platform at 7:30 pm. Silence for a year now. Central Railway Mumbai Divisional Railway Manager Hiresh Mina has boycotted the media for over a year now. He has not been speaking to journalists at all despite multiple attempts at all levels. Occupying one of the most critical public-facing roles in a city where the suburban railway network is the lifeline, the absence of any media engagement raises serious questions. The DRM is the administrative head of the division—and is accountable to millions of daily commuters who rely on transparent communication. He has been meeting activists and politicians but has effectively kept the media away for over a year now since he took charge. In a metropolis like Mumbai, where railways are deeply embedded in everyday life, such sustained silence from the top undermines public trust. Heading the railways in a city like Mumbai and not speaking to the media reflects a worrying shift in public accountability. Can a person heading the system that moves millions daily afford to remain this disconnected? Appeal to him to get along and speak

Ratnagiri and Gorakhpur-- Central Railway explains So, here’s the exact operational issue that has been faced by Central Railway Mumbai while operating the Dadar-Ratnagiri train. When the Konkan side train enters or leaves merging into the Mumbai suburban railway near Diva or Vidyavihar, it detains about six local trains (nearly three from either side Up & Down). This affects the punctuality in Mumbai, which is already at a low due to various reasons. There is no problem operating trains that go ahead to Nagpur or Pune and hence the Gorakhpur train will not interfere with the suburban system in any way. मुंबईतील सेंट्रल रेल्वेला दादर–रत्नागिरी ट्रेन चालवताना एक विशिष्ट ऑपरेशनल अडचण येते. कोंकणकडून येणारी ही ट्रेन दिवा किंवा विद्याविहारजवळ मुंबईच्या उपनगरीय रेल्वे मार्गात प्रवेश करते किंवा बाहेर पडते, तेव्हा त्या वेळी सुमारे सहा लोकल गाड्या (अप आणि डाउन दोन्ही बाजूंनी सुमारे तीन-तीन) थांबवाव्या लागतात. यामुळे मुंबईच्या लोकल सेवेच्या वेळपालनावर परिणाम होतो, जे आधीच विविध कारणांमुळे कमी आहे. मात्र नागपूर किंवा पुण्याकडे पुढे जाणाऱ्या गाड्यांच्या ऑपरेशनमध्ये अशी कोणतीही अडचण येत नाही. त्यामुळे गोरखपूर ट्रेनमुळे मुंबईच्या उपनगरीय रेल्वे प्रणालीवर कोणताही परिणाम होणार नाही.

Moving faster than the timetable!!! A Kalyan-bound fast AC local train overshot Bhandup station going ahead by a few coaches on Tuesday morning. "The 9:29am Kalyan local from Bhandup entered the platform at a high speed and missed the platform despite rigorous braking, but by that time, it had already been shot ahead by a few coaches," a passenger inside the train said. The train, 95711 CSMT-Kalyan, fast has a timetabled halt at Bhandup station. Officials said the train was detained for six minutes. There was NO SPAD case. (Signal Passing at Danger). #MumbaiRailway
