“I am pleased to announce that TODAY my Administration officially filed the presentation and plans to the highly respected Commission of Fine Arts for what will be the GREATEST and MOST BEAUTIFUL Triumphal Arch, anywhere in the World. This will be a wonderful addition to the Washington D.C. area for all Americans to enjoy for many decades to come!” - President DONALD J. TRUMP

Hij zou het wel eventjes fixen, onze grote strateeg. Na 1 week een economische en defensieve puinzooi en veel onschuldige doden. En nu roept meneer hulp in. #ELECTCLOWNSEXPECTACIRCUS

Trump practically told our allies to f-off — that we didn’t need them, that the U.S. had already “won.”
Now he’s begging them for help.

trump, last saturday: don’t need british ships. we will remember, we don’t need people that join wars after we’ve already won. trump, this saturday: hopefully united kingdom will send ships so that strait of hormuz will no longer be threatened.
English

Trump says Iran has "attempted" the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. No. The Strait of Hormuz IS closed.
Trump says the US has destroyed 100% of Iran's military capability, yet the Strait of Hormuz is so unsafe, that it is untraveled, and effectively - closed.
Trump says that Iran is totally decapitated. Yet the Strait of Hormuz remains closed.
Trump says other nations should send ships to the Strait of Hormuz waterway, because Iran's drones, mines, and missiles are but "artificial constraints." Yet those constraints keep the Strait of Hormuz closed.
Trump uses hyperbole after hyperbole. He puts forth no information or perspective. All effort is to generate a public narrative that distracts and deflects from the fact that the Strait of Hormuz is closed.

@bangormet @JKMuir Mr. Muir, do you know it’s also available in Europe? I don’t want the tariff monsters taking a bite out of it
English

I just learned that @JKMuir recently released a new book on the 2010s decade of horror films.
I know what I'm buying today.

@JamieBonkiewicz I’m missing ‘Aliens’ and ‘Hospital boats’. Shout bingo if he mentions them in the same sentence and related to each other!
English

I’ll save you some time on the State of the Union:
• It’s Joe Biden’s fault
• Transgender for everyone
• Prescription drugs down 1500%
• Tariffs are making us rich
• Border invasion
• We are the hottest country in the world
• Canada = 51st state
• Some gibberish
• Something about Greenland
• Nobody’s ever seen anything like it
• Fake news
• Still Joe Biden’s fault
• Witch hunt
• Rigged election
• I know more about everything than anybody
• More gibberish
• Greatest economy ever
Am I missing anything?

@TheRealThelmaJ1 The question is which ‘staffer’ wrote this post? I’m placing my bets on Long John Silver!

@Microinteracti1 The question is which ‘staffer’ wrote this post? Must have been one with sea legs and I’m placing my bets on Long John Silver!

The American president is seriously a sick, old man who wakes up early in the morning with what looks like dementia-fueled hallucinations and decides to post that the U.S. is sending a “great hospital boat” to Greenland. “It’s on the way!!!”
He justifies it by claiming it’s to care for “many sick people who aren’t being cared for there.”
Greenland, population 56,000, minding its own business, suddenly cast as a humanitarian disaster zone because someone had a dramatic breakfast thought. This is what happens when foreign policy is apparently brainstormed before coffee.
And it tracks with what we’ve heard for years: a long list of people from his first term later went on record saying he wasn’t fit for office and they spent their time trying to contain chaos.

@RonFilipkowski He’s just warming up for Tuesday’s SOTU. Do you already have your bingo cards ready? I’am adding ‘hospital boats’ and ‘aliens’ to mine!

@atrupar Hold on. How do you know Trump wrote this? It might as well be the infamous ‘staffer’
English

This is insane‼️
Donald Trump just went on Truth Social and threatened to block the Gordie Howe International Bridge from opening unless Canada pays up and “fully compensates” the U.S.
Just to underline the obvious: this is the same guy who lit the fuse on the tariff mess with Canada last year, including raising tariffs up to 35%. So yes, he started the fire, and now he’s demanding tribute for the smoke.
And because it wouldn’t be a Trump post without a nonsense detour, he also claimed China is going to “terminate ALL ice hockey” in Canada and wipe out the Stanley Cup. That’s adorable, considering the National Hockey League is headquartered in New York City.
Meanwhile, back in the real world: this bridge is jointly owned with Michigan and paid for by Canada, and it’s on track for an early 2026 opening. So if he tries to turn it into a political hostage situation, it’s not “negotiations.” It’s Michigan’s economy and supply chains getting jerked around over his fragile ego. 👇
