I’ve been called racist and islamophobic hundreds of times today for outlining Restore Britain’s policy on banning halal slaughter, the burqa, sharia law, cousin marriage and plenty more. I want to be really clear about our party’s official response. We do not give a shit.

🚨 TURN OUT THE LIGHTS - New York has introduced a bill in Albany that would FORCE ALL residents to TURN OFF their outdoor lights at 11 PM or face FINES of $250-$500+ EACH TIME! The "New York State Dark Skies Protection Act" is a bill aimed at "reducing light pollution, conserving energy, protecting wildlife, and preserving views of the night sky." The law would require property owners of all kinds, (single family homes, multi-family homes, apartment buildings, commercial buildings, etc) to shut OFF their outdoor lights from 11 PM until sunrise. Leave it up to New York to IGNORE blatant problems like CRIME, BUDGET DEFICITS, and HOMELESSNESS surrounding us, yet FORCE it's LAW-ABIDING residents to comply to their USELESS and DRACONIAN Lighting mandates, OR ELSE! Keep Fighting 🇺🇸

85% of the country supports this. We don't want to hear why the Senate of the United States does not accomplish what a great majority of we the people ask for. We want it done. Is this difficult for you to understand. Don't lecture us, represent us. You people don't understand the division of labor.

Senator Thom Tillis@SenThomTillis·
I am one of the few members of Congress who has actually passed a voter ID law (on a bipartisan basis), which I did as Speaker of the House in North Carolina, and that’s why I proudly co-sponsored the SAVE Act. While I support strengthening mail-in ballot integrity, many states like Utah, Florida, Alaska, and Montana rely on the use of mail-in ballots to conduct their elections, and we should not be completely upending how states already securely conduct their elections. Even if this issue is fixed, the SAVE America Act still will not have the 60 votes required to pass it. While the so-called ‘talking filibuster’ has been floated as an option, there is a reason why previous attempts to utilize it in recent history have failed. A ‘talking filibuster’ would effectively make Chuck Schumer the new Senate Majority Leader, allowing Democrats to block every single Trump judge and executive branch nominee, and allow them to force endless votes on anything they want. Democrats would control the floor of the U.S. Senate until the end of the year. There are only two ways out of a ‘talking filibuster.’ The first is for Democrats to miraculously give up and allow Republicans to pass the bill with a simple majority. That is never going to happen, and anyone who claims it’s even a remote possibility is either completely misinformed or intentionally misleading the American people. The second way is for Republicans to substantially weaken or eliminate the filibuster altogether. I have made it crystal clear that I will never vote to do this. Eliminating the filibuster is a foolish and lazy idea pushed by politicians seeking short-term gain at the expense of causing irreparable long-term harm to our nation. Succeeding in eliminating the filibuster would significantly weaken the minority party, end the need for bipartisan compromise, and allow erratic swings in policy that would transform America for the worse. Those are just the consequences of a best-case outcome. During the last Congress, all of my Democratic colleagues currently serving supported nuking the filibuster to try to pass their own partisan election reform bill. Democrats were dead wrong to try to change the filibuster when they controlled the Senate, and Republicans would be dead wrong to try to change the filibuster now that we control the Senate. The only real path to address the American people’s declining confidence in our elections is for both parties to find common ground on legislation that supports universal adoption of voter ID, proof of citizenship, and other vital election integrity measures.

The nature of the Zionist regime is state terrorism. Yet US aggression against Iran and the assassination of the martyred Leader sets a new precedent in international disputes that will destroy global legal norms. If the world fails to stand firm, its flames will burn many.

The United States & Israel are obliterating the world oil supply and shutting down international trade routes. ON PURPOSE. This isn’t a kinetic war. It’s controlled demolition. Trump & Netanyahu are creating chaos purposefully and trying to impoverish and kill billions (including their own people) while calling it a war. Their goal? To reset the world order, cull the human population and plunder the wreckage. Then they will seize everything that remains and ‘build back better’. The people in control are madmen. We have to stop them.

I think it's fair to say the Tucker Carlson Joe Kent interview is the most important two hours of journalism you'll hear all year. Mandatory. Kent is no dove. He's an Iran hawk. The gravity of what he says about how and whom started this war should be front page news world-wide.

I usually give Trump the benefit of the doubt when it comes to military operations. What he pulled off in Venezuela was a miracle. A hostile government was replaced with a friendly one without losing a single American soldier. Venezuela has massive oil reserves and critical minerals, and it was China’s main foothold in the Western Hemisphere. Now, they are praising Trump, sending gold to U.S. refineries, and opening up to American investment. Operation Midnight Hammer was badass. In his first term, he used targeted strikes to take out ISIS, al-Baghdadi, and Soleimani while avoiding large-scale wars. If he could reshape Iran’s leadership like Venezuela and secure control over the Strait of Hormuz, that would be a huge strategic win. But right now, it’s unclear how that happens. Some OSINT analysts say ground troop movements may already be underway. At the same time, the Pentagon has reportedly requested about $200 billion for the Iran war. Even without boots on the ground, that kind of spending signals a longer, more expensive conflict. One of Trump’s biggest selling points has always been projecting strength without dragging America into endless wars that cost lives and trillions of dollars. Qatar produces about 20% of the world’s LNG, and it reportedly lost around 17% of its export capacity for up to five years after yesterday’s attack. More strikes on energy infrastructure could drive inflation higher and shake the global economy. I hope Trump succeeds with minimal loss of life and economic damage. His track record is why I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. But I don’t want to see another prolonged ground war with heavy American casualties. I hope he finds an off-ramp long before that happens.

You should be absolutely furious about this $200 billion ask for the war. I guarantee you if you asked for $200 billion in health care or food for American people, you'd be laughed out of Congress. There's no money for that! But as soon as Israel asks, it'll fly through Congress.

Iran has brought the whole world to a standstill. It is fighting against the wealthiest and most powerful nations but it is winning. What’s even more interesting is that Iran is also winning the PR war. When this war is over, there will be more people who view America as a terrorist regime and a few (fools) who view Iran as a terrorist regime. I don’t know if the IRGC knows that this could be there biggest win yet other than the military gains. American and zionist propaganda is being shredded into pieces in real time in front of the whole world. What a time to be alive. Slava Iran!🇮🇷

🚨🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran just set its price to end the war and it's not what Trump thinks. Tehran says it won't stop until it gets a guaranteed promise that the U.S. and Israel will never attack again. Not a temporary ceasefire. Permanent guarantees. An Iranian close to the regime says Iran needs a guarantee and "won't retreat even if the war continues for one year." The IRGC is now fighting like a militant group instead of a conventional army. They've abandoned their bases, scattered across the country, and are producing missiles in hidden underground sites. Iran also learned something crucial: it can actually close the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran now knows this weapon works and could keep using it to hold the world economy hostage. Even if Trump declares victory and pulls out, Iran might keep hitting Israel and the Gulf. The regime sees this as existential survival. At the end of the day, Iran wants to make the world economy hurt enough that no one tries this again. Source: Financial Times

There’s a serious problem when the Chair of the Federal Reserve—the central bank of the United States—is more concerned and alarmed that jobs are going to Native born Americans over foreigners. That’s not just a bad look, it’s a complete inversion of priorities. The person in that position is supposed to be focused on the strength of the American economy and the well-being of the American workforce. When it starts to sound like those priorities are taking a back seat, people are right to question whose interests are actually being put first. Jerome Powell needs to be removed NOW.

$200 BILLION IS ENOUGH TO: - Double the annual per‑person spending on K–12 education. - Expand the ACA tax credit for 7 years. - Provide up to 2 million people the SNAP benefits they need. - Provide a middle class tax break of $3,500. Instead, we will spend it on an illegal war. This is only the beginning. More money will be wasted. More lives will be lost.
