Paul Tudor Jones, one of the greatest macro traders alive, just called Bitcoin the greatest scarcity asset there is. The same week Powell hands the keys to the next Fed Chair. The asset designed for a debasement regime, just got endorsed at the start of one.

Dry is definitely superior to steam, but there might be more to learn here on infrared saunas potential superiority: "According to Dr. Klinghardt’s study, sweat produced by dry saunas is composed of 95-97% water.. By contrast, far-infrared saunas produce sweat that is 80-85% water and 15-20% non-water components. The non-water portion contains sebaceous sweat, which is rich in cholesterol, fat-soluble toxins, heavy metals, sulfuric acid, ammonia, and uric acid. These substances are far more difficult for the body to expel through traditional methods, making far-infrared saunas uniquely effective for deeper detoxification." Professionals who take people through the niacin sauna protocol have actually switched from dry sauna to infrared sauna, as they believe they're getting the same detoxification results from 1 hour in an infrared sauna as they were getting from 4 hours in a dry sauna.

Sauna is one of the most effective health protocols I've done. Here is everything I've learned; it's the most robust characterization ever produced. Results: 1) Fifteen sessions of sauna dramatically reduced environmental toxins in my body: + 65% drop in 2,4-D + 100% drop in MEP + 15% drop in MBP + 100% drop in MEHP (undetectable post sauna) + 56% drop in NAPR + 56% drop in HEMA + 100% drop in Perchlorate (undetectable post sauna) 2. Sauna eliminated 85% of microplastics from my ejaculate. Nov 2024: 165 particles/mL July 2025: 20 particles/mL Nearly identical drop in my blood same time period: Oct 2024: 70 particles/mL May 2025: 10 particles/mL 3. Sauna, without ice on the boys, devastated my fertility markers. Total Motile Count: –56% Concentration: –30% Motility: –50% Morphology: –48% Count: –9% 4. Sauna coincided with my fertility markers being at an all-time high. I have more total and motile sperm than 99.6% of men of any age, including men under 25. + total count: 600 M + concentration: 162 M + motility: 55% + total motile count: 330M + morphology (normal): 10% We do not know what to make of these improvements. Was it the sauna? Sauna + ice? Ice only? We don't know but we did not identify any other protocols or lifestyle changes during this interval that would plausibly account for the change. 5. My vascular function improved by a ten year reduction in age. Now I have the vascular age of an elite 18-early 20s. + Central Systolic Blood Pressure: 96 mmHg + Central Pulse Pressure: 20 mmHg + Pulse Pressure Amplification: 160% + SEVR: 227% + Augmentation Pressure: 1 mmHg + Augmentation Index Wave: 3% + Traditional blood pressure: 107/75 mmHg 6. What type of sauna? Use a dry sauna with high temperatures between 80-100°C (176 to 212°F) and 5-20% relative air humidity. Aim for the lower end of this spectrum, especially as a beginner. Higher temperatures closer to the boiling point can cause side effects like headaches and severely dried nose and eyes. Note: Steam baths, hot tubs, and infrared saunas fail to replicate the same effects because they do not allow you to safely reach the required high temperatures and do not induce the same level of sweating, the necessary inverted (skin-to-core) temperature gradient, and the massive re-direction of blood to the skin with resulting vasodilation. Dry sauna is unique, and very likely superior to wet (steam bath) and infrared saunas. By heating up your skin way faster than your core, dry hot sauna flips your core skin temperature gradient, eliciting the following hormetic benefits: + enhanced blood flow: the heart pumps up to 70% more blood, similar to intense aerobic exercise (zone 2-+ increased sweating for detoxification: to maintain a stable core temperature, the skin produces 0.6-1 liter of sweat per hour, facilitating significant detoxification. + improved heat tolerance: the body becomes better at handling heat, leading to a lower core body temperature (offering metabolic advantages) + safe activation of heat shock proteins: the skin experiences substantial heat shock protein activation, while a modest 1°C increase in core temperature is sufficient to activate these proteins without the risk of hyperthermia. + extended Exposure at higher temperatures: dry saunas are more tolerable for longer durations and at higher temperatures, maximizing the benefits. 7. Sauna protocol and frequency Type: hot dry sauna Temperature: 176–212°F ( I do 200°F) Relative air humidity: very low, 5-20% Duration: 20 min Frequency: 4–7x a week 8. Heat Protection If you'd like, you can protect your head from the heat by wearing a sauna hat or wrapping it with a towel (use only cotton or other 100% natural material). You can breathe through a towel or cloth if needed to protect your nose. I am personally fine not doing this. Most importantly, ice the balls. Icing the testicles is absolutely required to prevent heat from damaging fertility markers. + Ice the testes during the sauna session. + Use a non-toxic, reusable ice pack material. + Wear cotton boxers and shorts. + Place ice packs in between the boxers and shorts. + Keep them in place for the entire session. Men should care about preserving fertility markers even when they are not trying to conceive. Sperm quality is tightly coupled to testicular function, which governs testosterone production, metabolic health, and long term endocrine stability. When fertility parameters decline, the same upstream dysfunction often drives lower testosterone, higher inflammation, and increased cardiometabolic risk. 9. Hydration Dry sauna induces sweating as part of its beneficial mechanism. Be sure to hydrate properly. In general, you might need to rehydrate with up to 16–32 oz (0.5–1 L) of fluid after a sauna session. Be sure to add electrolytes. If you want to be precise, measure your sweat amount and electrolytes (saltiness) using a patch (e.g., from Gatorade) to quantify your liquid and electrolyte loss, and rehydrate accordingly. Some people have saltier sweat than others and must ensure they replenish electrolytes as well as water. My results: my body sweats 18 oz during a 20 min sauna at 200 °F, with a sodium concentration of 25-39 mg/oz. A single sauna session flushes 450–700 mg of sodium out of my body. # I wish you all the best in life my friend. A new era or being human is here. One where existence is the highest virtue. Prioritize sleep, daily exercise and eat well and you'll be in a strong position. Try to avoid the bad stuff. Anything that takes away your agency. Be a warrior and caretaker of existence. Don't Die.

The U.S. strike against ISIS in Nigeria demonstrates decisive leadership where previous administrations failed. Radical Islamic terrorism thrives under weakness—Trump’s action shows America won’t tolerate the slaughter of Christians or any civilians. Military precision here isn’t just tactical; it’s strategic deterrence. Every dollar spent neutralizing terrorists protects global stability and prevents future attacks on U.S. interests. Critics whine about “endless wars,” but this was a targeted enforcement of red lines—exactly how defense spending should work. When terrorists escalate, America escalates harder. The message is clear: attack innocents, face obliteration. This isn’t nation-building; it’s threat elimination. Nigeria’s request proves allies trust U.S. capability over U.N. paralysis. No more half-measures—total dominance ends conflicts faster.

What is stopping SWC from reaching out to one of their larger institutional investors with a heavier position for a 0% loan for share buybacks at this MNAV. The 0% loan pumps their own bags and also deters shorts in the near and long term. Has something like this been explored?

Today was the iPhone moment for STRC. + it traded most of the day at or above par + closed the day at $100.01 (above par!) + record volume of 1.77M shares traded (~$177M volume) + if they ATM-ed 5% of the volume, they raised $8.85M today + if they ATM-ed 10% of the volume, they raised $17.7M today + if they ATM-ed 20% of the volume, they raised $35.4M today So the STRC ATM led to a Bitcoin purchase of 87 to 350 BTC today. Which would mean 435 to 1,750 BTC per week at this rate. We have arrived. This is the iPhone moment. And we are all not bullish enough what this means for Bitcoin and the Bitcoin Treasury Company industry.

I want to share a little about myself so that when you read my posts, you can get an understanding of where it's coming from. I am prepared to lose all my wealth and start from zero. 99% of my wealth is in Bitcoin or Bitcoin derivatives. I don't even own a house. I rent. I have no pension. I am all in. I am ideologically tied to Bitcoin and Freedom. This, along with my belief in God, are the foundations of who I am as an individual. I don't recommend my Bitcoin maximalism to others. It's not suited for most people and goes against conventional wisdom. Not many are prepared to start over from scratch if it goes wrong. Some may even call it irresponsible. It's served me well of course. I am wealthier than most. So why, you may be asking? We are born free. Then society gets to work. Debt for University. Mortgage. Careers. Slaves to our own egos and possessions. I'm not interested. I'm a Sovereign Individual. Not in an edgy way, but I just genuinely don't give a shit about any of it. I value freedom. I live a great life. I've travelled the world. It helps that Bitcoin is the best asset ever created. History will look at us as idiots. We work for a currency that another man prints for free. It's honestly a joke how we got ourselves in such a situation, but I digress. And if it all goes to zero... Well, this is where the faith element helps. What is written is written. Secondly, I back myself to be okay regardless. I have two gifts. 1. Being born in the West. 2. Above average IQ. This is more abundance than most people on the planet :) I like my odds. I grew up relatively poor and I could easily go back there. It won't be nice, but material comforts are overrated anyway. Controversial I know, but being poor in the West isn't really that bad. In the UK at least, you'll survive. A topic for another day but I actually think it's better to have your children grow up with a sense of struggle. Anyway... I say all of this to just remember that before you borrow my conviction, this is where it's coming from. I love Bitcoin more than most and I will ride the volatility with a smile on my face. My conviction is strong. You will not find capitulation here. Bear this in mind. You are probably not like me. I am irresponsibly long, perhaps not irrationally.

Love the logic, Simon! .. fund a convex asset (BTC) with a concave liability (fixed-rate prefs). In clean math, BTC per common share evolves as: BPS(t) ∝ [(1 + r₍BTC₎)/(1 + r₍pref₎)]ᵗ. So the only thing that matters is the spread (r₍BTC₎ – r₍pref₎), not today’s mNAV. Quick check on the example! at 30% BTC CAGR and a 6% coupon, (1.30/1.06)¹⁰ = 7.7×, not 8.6×. 8.6× corresponds to ~4.5% coupon (or ~32% BTC CAGR). The thesis still holds .. just tighten the inputs. What makes prefs powerful imo.. • Anti-dilution: adds BTC without expanding common count. • Positive carry if r₍BTC₎ > r₍pref₎ + issuance/FX costs → compounding BPS. • Balance-sheet optionality: callable/refinanceable when spreads move. Design it like a Wall Street product • Structure: perpetual, callable @ 36 months, non-cumulative (or fixed-to-float step-up), target 4–6% all-in. • Risk controls: hold 18–24 months coupon reserve; hedge USD/JPY basis; cap net prefs/EV ≤40%. • Coupon funding (so you never sell BTC): monetize 3–5% of holdings via covered calls/basis trades to synthetically earn the coupon. • Playbook: issue prefs when mNAV < 1 (cheap equity, expensive stock); buy back prefs or common when mNAV > 1.5×. Why this wins? …. It’s MicroStrategy’s 2020 convert play … but Japan-style which is a self-compounding BTC flywheel that grows BTC/share through the cycle while protecting common from drawdown-driven equity raises. Bottom line is that I think fund convexity with fixed coupons, keep the spread positive, and let time do the heavy lifting.

As we enter our next phase of growth, a key question is why preferred shares are a more powerful tool than issuing common stock. The answer lies in how we can continue increasing Bitcoin per share without depending on equity issuance. When a company raises common equity, it increases its Bitcoin holdings but also the number of shares. That dilution can slow Bitcoin per share growth. Preferred shares allow us to raise capital at a fixed dividend rate without increasing the number of common shares. To understand the impact, we look at mNAV, which shows how the market values the company’s enterprise value relative to its Bitcoin holdings. Our objective is to increase Bitcoin per share while using capital efficiently. When Bitcoin appreciates faster than the cost of capital, that difference compounds into greater Bitcoin per share and the benefit accrues to the common shareholders. Here is the simple math behind it: Value of Bitcoin = (1 + Bitcoin annual growth)¹⁰ Preferred obligation = (1 + Dividend rate)¹⁰ Equivalent mNAV = (1 + Bitcoin annual growth)¹⁰ ÷ (1 + Dividend rate)¹⁰ If Bitcoin compounds at 30% a year and the preferred dividend is 6%, then (1.30¹⁰) ÷ (1.06¹⁰) = 8.6 times. That means issuing 6% preferred shares would create the same long term effect as issuing new equity today at an mNAV level of 8.6x. In simple terms, preferred shares make it possible to expand Bitcoin holdings without dilution, and grow bitcoin per share irrespective of mNAV. Metaplanet today has one of the strongest balance sheets in Japan with virtually no debt and growing Bitcoin reserves. Our long term vision is to transform Japan’s credit markets by introducing yield instruments backed by Bitcoin.

Another week has flown by, which means it’s time for The Smarter Web Company weekly update (#SWC $TSWCF $3M8.F). I started the week by arriving in Singapore on Monday, where I have been until yesterday. The purpose of the Singapore trip was: existing and potential investor meetings, visiting and presenting at @Token2049 and catching up with others in the industry on a variety of subjects. @Croesus_BTC was conducting the online media appearances for the both of us this week and he started the week on @RoxomTV for a catch up with @borjamartels. On Wednesday we announced the appointment of Randal Casson, a new Non-Executive Director. Randal is also a Non-Executive Director at the FTSE 100 company, Games Workshop Group PLC and before this he was an audit partner at PwC. His significant experience will be valuable to our mission with specific reference to corporate governance, controls and audits. On Wednesday I also took part in a panel at @Token2049. Unsurprisingly this was about Digital Asset Treasuries and it was good to see how advanced we are with Bitcoin Treasury companies and how these other companies can learn from us in terms of capital structure, metrics and investor communications. It does not really matter if you believe in the assets they have selected, it is still interesting to see how they adopt the model. The rest of Wednesday was spent meeting different people and media commitments. Then a few hours in the hotel room catching up on emails. Thursday was a similar format to Wednesday with a panel discussion with @Cointelegraph to end the day. Shortly after I did the panel, which was streamed live, @Croesus_BTC was back online with @ourgoodlifeuk and I can recommend watching this stream as it was a good one (you can find it on my timeline). On Friday I had several investor meetings with the last of these starting at 17:00. After this it was a taxi to the airport for the 23:00 plane and back to the UK. I am currently about 2 hours away from landing as I post this. As always, I must give a shout out to the SWC community on X. We are close to 4,500 members in the community now and it will be interesting to see how this grows from here. Shout out to: @andysmith_asap @johnsthor1 @JohnCoo70815409 @80IQConviction @doublediamond65 @Michaeljdobbin @Boutiquecapital @InvestorSmarter @DrBitcoinM50862 @the_desert_ape @ZynxBTC @ourgoodlifeuk @AFCB12 and @BitcoinBee21. Special shout out to @andysmith_asap who made the trip over to Singapore: it’s a pleasure to spend time with you. With a shorter update this week, perhaps it feels like we have achieved less than in previous weeks? In my view we end the week better than where we started. As always, I am grateful for the support.

Climb That Ladder
Climb That Ladder@ActuallyClimber·
Men are not women. Women are not men. No one is born in the wrong body. We are also all imperfect. The obvious flaw in the whole discussion is this: If men can just “be” women and women can just “be” men, then the terms “man” and “woman” completely lose their meanings. The whole premise of wanting to be the other thing or claiming you are is totally meaningless as definitions have been thrown in the garbage which is why “what is a woman?” is such a simple trigger for the self-proclaimed tolerant. Lies pretending to be love. Similar to: if everyone gets a trophy, competition loses its value. If everyone is a winner, no one is. Hierarchy must be accepted and preserved. We don’t have a choice. It’s the illusion of choice which is the parasite. Basic order (men are not women and cannot be women) must be accepted and preserved. Imagine “loved ones” cheering you on in support, encouraging you to get so called gender affirming care, while also telling you that you have truly been a woman your whole life (because you say you feel that way) despite your male parts. If you’re a woman despite your body, why try to change your body? Now imagine being stuck having to dilate your new situation twice a day, having high pain, low pleasure sex with partners often only joining you in bed for the sick novelty of it, and go through immeasurable and largely irreversible suffering, not to mention being frequently viewed as a creep by men and women as you fail to transition to something you are not. Imagine measuring success as tricking the masses through dress and makeup to believe you’re a real woman. When lies and trickery become the literal aim and people are still unwilling to answer “what is a woman?”, perhaps that’s not a road worth going down. @chloecole and others have been insanely brave, having gone down that road as a confused youth with those around her unwilling to simply SPEAK the TRUTH. Maximum freedom and autonomy is great, but only within the confines of the truth. I am not a cat and can never be a cat. I am not a woman and can never be a woman. I am not an author, but perhaps that is something I can change. We have so much flexibility in our lives and should better ourselves in the ways we are able. "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference"
