@ShivrattanDhil1 Ban aftermarket retrofitted LED headlights that do not have proper beam pattern, low beam cutoff, & lumens way above CMVR specs. Insist that OEMs provide automatic dipping of beams in the vicinity of other vehicles (300 metres). OEM LED headlights, used properly, are excellent.

One of the worst trends in modern cars has to be the white LED headlights. Even with my stock headlights, I could barely see the road ahead on both low beam and high beam. At the same time, oncoming traffic kept flashing me, assuming my lights were too bright, while I myself couldn’t see properly. The white light reflects more off road signs, rain, and dust, often reducing actual visibility. This is exactly why the old yellow halogen headlights were so effective they offered better contrast and visibility in real-world driving conditions. I genuinely wonder why there isn’t more research or discussion highlighting this issue!! ☺️

@DriveSmart_IN At least the underride protection bar worked! Scorp will need a chassis and front end change, truck needs a hammer to straighten out the bent bar. No one should die (unless they skipped wearing seat belts). One more mad driver taken off the road.

@DriveSmart_IN Truck drivers with zero education can neither read road signs or road rules, nor understand the risks involved in doing what they do. What will enforcement change, except reduce the fleet owner's profit margins & improve the state exchequer's annual numbers?

As India is moving towards expressways, enforcement must be very strict as speeds are high and risk would be very high.

Leave enough space in front & to the sides, aka #CrashAvoidanceSpace. If you can't STOP, you're AT RISK. Of needing a Dr., or even forcing your family to attend your funeral.

What more proof does the government need? My father has been driving this Mercedes for the last 17 years. Not a single major issue, not a single complaint. But over the past few days, the car started behaving unusually, and today it finally threw up a P0087-4A fault code. Can someone please explain to Mr. Gadkari what this code means? Maybe it’s not contaminated fuel, maybe it isbut something definitely feels wrong. I don’t know about the rest of India, but some fuel pumps around Chandigarh seem suspicious. This is now the second vehicle in my family to show fuel-related symptoms. 17years of flawless service, and now it feels like this trusted companion may not have many years left. Today, for the first time in a long while, I saw genuine sadness on my father’s face. People who spend their lives travelling in government vehicles may never understand this emotion. For many of us, a car is not just a machine that takes us from one place to another. It becomes a part of the family. It carries memories, journeys, celebrations, and stories. This isn’t written in anger. It’s a folded-hands request. Please don’t take away the emotional connection people have with their vehicles.🙏🏻
