@ashleycomms @BulkyMike9100 @DrCalumMiller Stop crying 'misogynist' when someone points out what's happening. If you believe that abortion can be for any and every reason then be prepared to argue that; surely it shouldn't matter to you if abortions are done out of convenience.

The first real test of Sarah Mullally's appointment as Archbishop of Canterbury Will be the vote on abortion UP TO BIRTH in the UK House of Lords this coming Wednesday If she or other bishops fail to turn up, the Church of England will have clearly lost its entire moral compass

@KatharinaLeAnn The Holy Bible says that only some men qualify for church eldership. And that excludes also an awful lot of men. Myself included!! But i actually saw someone criticising a woman for preaching the gospel in public. Its not just 'toxic'. That in my view is demonic opposition.

If you are a woman, you are not allowed to talk about Christ in mixed company. & if you’re a woman who wears makeup, you’re a straight up Jezebel.

I would think that bad too. Teachers should not be dominated by one ideology — and they should be professional enough to leave their politics at the classroom door.
Michael Winfield@MSWinF1eld

@afneil And if Tories were on 37%, Reform 29% and young people had mostly right leaning views what would we think about that, good or bad?

@HansFiene @SlowToWrite "What about... Cain!" "Yes. him too." "But... he was a really bad sinner." "As am I. So grateful he died for Cain." Calvinists really think that's a victory lap? Calvinism is really scary.

No one actually believes that Jesus died for everyone. Otherwise, did Jesus die for Cain? Once you acknowledge that Jesus didn’t die for everyone who has ever lived, you need to consider that he chose to die for some people, not all. In short: he died for his Bride.

What is the philosophically consistent argument to make boiling lobsters alive illegal on the basis of sentience, but making it legal to 'abort' a fully sentient baby <1 minute from birth? I know philosophy in politics isn't trendy, but it is fundamental to policy like this
Telegraph Politics@TelePolitics

🔴 NEW: Boiling live crab and lobster is to be banned in Britain as part of an animal rights crackdown by Labour. Find out more ⬇️ telegraph.co.uk/business/2025/…

The *real* problem with Santa is that he operates purely on a covenant of works. His list may be checked twice, but it is not checked by pure grace. We need to teach our children the Santa-gospel distinction!

It's promoted by media outlets, has a wildly successful on-screen adaptation, and can be purchased in any major bookstore. Some schools might not use it in their curriculum or have it in their libraries. Please stop calling things like this banned.

In Orwell's 1984, Part 1, Chap 5, the narrator explains: "In any case, to wear an improper expression on your face (to look incredulous when a victory was announced, for example) was itself a punishable offence. There was even a word for it in Newspeak: facecrime, it was called."
James Esses@JamesEsses

🚨In June, a BBC teleprompter instructed presenter, Martine Croxall, to say ‘pregnant people’. She, bravely, corrected this term by saying ‘women’. Today, the BBC has announced that she broke the rules because of her “facial expression”. Our national broadcaster is a disgrace.
