In a sentimental view point, there has to be a drop that scares the new people that came into he BTC market. Reading people's posts in my country's local "trading group" they were ready to buy 5 to 6 figures in BTC and now that we hit 9K, their confidence in the asset evaporates.

@SystematicPeter I've been thinking of trying out nautilus as a benchmark after having created my own backtesting engine from scratch. Any specific features you've grown to love on Nautilus?

LLMs can backtest trading ideas surprisingly well - if you feed them clean data. It’s insanely convenient: the model writes a “just enough” backtester for the exact hypothesis you’re testing. But here’s the trap: LLMs sometimes make tiny implementation mistakes. And one small bug can turn a solid idea into total garbage - or total garbage into a “holy grail”. My current workflow that keeps me honest: Step 1: Let the LLM prototype + backtest in its own script (I use Claude Code) Step 2: If results look real, my workflow forces it to re-implement the same logic in a proper framework (I use NautilusTrader). Step 3: Compare outputs - equity curve + trade list must match (or be very close). Step 4: If it matches in Nautilus, odds are the backtest is actually correct. Best part: LLMs can port even complex strategy logic into NautilusTrader without hesitation. @LimitlessXBT Its really hard to quantify instinct, I've been developing a backtesting page for over a year. However sometimes you just know more than what all the fancy data can show you. Trying to 'program that feeling' but it's proving to be a challenge.

Lads I’ve been using ChatGPT and other LLMs since their release in 2022-2023 They started off as silly hallucination machines, like a parlour trick I’ve continued to use them the entire time and the current frontier models are simply insane If you haven’t used these tools for a while, you absolutely should and you need to update your priors Very strongly recommend you take some time to play around with them, especially Claude Opus 4.5 I’m not a hype man but the current capabilities are seriously impressive - you need to catch up

A victim (0xcB80) lost $50M due to a copy-paste address mistake. Before transferring 50M $USDT, the victim sent 50 $USDT as a test to his own address 0xbaf4b1aF...B6495F8b5. The scammer immediately spoofed a wallet with the same first and last 4 characters and performed an address poisoning attack. Since many wallets hide the middle part of the address with "..." to make the UI look better. Many users often copy the address from transaction histories, and usually only check the starting and ending letters. This victim likes to do the same. When transferring the remaining 49,999,950 $USDT, the victim copied the fake address from his transaction history. As a result, 49,999,950 $USDT was sent straight to the scammer. A painful lesson!
