It took me a while to get this but you do have X, even if you don’t realise it.

I don’t think it’s that they want brown people to be worse off no. Not the majority. I think it has to do with “what about me?” I’m suffering too but you don’t care. Because when you say “white people” have X, my thought process would be but I don’t have X. You keep saying white people as a monolith but that’s not me. You don’t care about me at all. And that causes anger. You can see how that narrative is built. And I’m not saying you are wrong about maybe we could band together and the goals are the same. But it doesn’t feel like that’s what’s going on. I feel a lot of hatred toward whites which is incredibly racist. And it’s counterproductive because it doesn’t open up the tent to being others into your cause. Martin Luther King Jr did the war on poverty for a reason. He was smart. He understood that he can bring others to the same cause through shared goals. I think many in the brown community lost the narrative and tactical aspect of that. And you can say I’m wrong, but go read this comments section right now. Lots of people saying white people this and white people that. I have not heard one person recognize the plight of the poor whites and say I understand you. Not one. Zero brown people.

If Obama or Biden had picked a Joint Chiefs head of color who was so unqualified they required a special waiver for the job — like Trump just did for a white man — some of y’all would have lost your minds. Black excellence scares you. White mediocrity is your security blanket.

It is the dumbest, most game-able thing ever. Anyone working in the federal government, regardless of how productive they are, can waste an hour producing this meaningless document. The smarter ones can do it in 10 minutes.
