As my colleague @orensegal said, “protecting the Jewish community requires meaningful collaboration, information sharing, and collective vigilance." This enhanced partnership will help to sharpen and strengthen coordination between @ADL’s analysts and @TheCSSorg's on-the-ground security network for the benefit of the entire community.
ADL@ADL

We're proud to announce that ADL and @TheCSSorg are enhancing our long-standing partnership by combining ADL’s intelligence and analytic expertise with CSS’s extensive network of trained volunteer security teams. We aim to strengthen security for the Jewish community nationwide. adl.org/resources/pres…

A New York Times Investigation: a war document authored by Hamas’ top commander and hours of previously undisclosed intercepted communications from real time are shedding new light on the October 7 attack. With the great @adamrasgon via @nytimes nytimes.com/2025/10/11/wor… In August 2022, Yahya Sinwar, the powerful leader of Hamas in Gaza, authored a secret war document, envisioning brutal acts of aggression against Israeli civilians and soldiers. He called for militants to destroy civilian neighborhoods by dousing them with gasoline before setting them on fire as well as to broadcast the violent acts so as to evoke fear in Israelis and destabilize the country. A year later on Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas militants fulfilled Sinwar’s vision, with commanders echoing his words to their subordinates, according to intercepted communications. “Burn, burn,” Abu Muhammed, a commander from Gaza City, said at 9:52A.M. “I want the whole kibbutz to burn down.” Hamas denied targeting civilians that day but the documentshows that the brutality perpetrated by Hamas was part and parcel of the plan and the intercepts reveals orders Hamas commanders gave militants in real time. Our investigation also show the extensive efforts that Hamas undertook to broadcast its atrocities to the Arab world in hopes of stoking fear among Israelis and mobilizing people outside Gaza to join the fight. Put together, they paint a harrowing picture of how Hamas planned and carried out the most devastating attack in Israel’s history. nytimes.com/2025/10/11/wor…

“Deze zogenoemde Oktober Raad bestaat uit familieleden van omgekomen soldaten, gijzelaars en ander slachtoffers van 7 oktober.” Voor Nasrah zijn de in meerderheid burgerdoden van 7 October slechts “andere slachtoffers”. Eigenlijk waren het allemaal soldaten. Mooie framing en geschiedvervalsing weer bij de @NOS

During the intifada, Hamas blew up people irrespective of what their opinion was on Israel’s policy vis-a-vis the Palestinians. What mattered for these terrorists was whether they were living or residing in the one Jewish state. Terrorism is terrorism. “Violent resistance” is sugarcoating indiscriminate murder. You are a hack.

Whether or not you agree with the concept of violent resistance, the fact is, Greenblatt blatantly lied and no one batted an eyelash. This is what happens in the absence of proper education on global affairs and a diversity of cultures + experiences in the media 2/2

Besides what @PeterBeinart points out here, let me add that not one of the presenters corrected Greenblatt when he lied and said the intifada was a violent uprising that "killed people simple because they were Jewish." No. The intifada was an uprising against an occupation 1/
Peter Beinart@PeterBeinart

Of course Mamdani has visited synagogues + Jewish communities. What angers Greenblatt is that Mamdani isn't courting HIM. By winning the bulk of the young Jewish vote while condemning Israel, Mamdani is exposing how out of touch Greenblatt is with many of the people he claims to represent. That's what makes Mamdani a threat.

@piersmorgan Why did you remain calm and quiet when a Palestinian representative on your show claimed all remaining hostages are soldiers? Isn’t that “bullsh*tting”?

@piersmorgan You’re a journalist, some may even consider you a talented interviewer, I certainly do. But you should allow people to speak, if you invite them on to hear their point of view, even if you risk disagreeing with it.

On October 8, you wrote that the Hamas-led assault meant Gazans “broke out of their prison” even though they border Egypt as well. What kind of “prison” is only walled in on one side, and it’s “break out” leads to the kidnapping of toddlers, taking them back into that same “prison” (& murder them)? You are as biased as they come and one of the reasons #bbc is repeatedly been misreporting the facts. A real journalist would recuse himself. Shame on you.

Eli Sharabi was released this morning as part of the hostage deal. This is how he looks after enduring captivity under Hamas. Dozens of Israelis remain in captivity. Israeli TV (12) is now reporting that, only upon his release, he has learned the devastating news that his entire family—his wife Lianne and two teenage daughters Noiya (16) and Yahel (13)—were murdered by Hamas on October 7.
