@glenngabe It’ll be soon, I’m seeing increases in indexing data in GSC that dropped significantly post update. To me, that’s a large recrawl/indexation check pre-update. Always watch the GSC data!
My prediction for the next broad core update is either late this week or early next. So let's go with Thursday 11/6 or Tuesday 11/11. We are due, Google likes to push broad core updates in November, and there has been a lot of volatility recently. Time will tell. :)
Ok Seaton Delaval and Ashington stations haven't opened to the public quite yet and you can get train times and fare details on the site, but @RailDeliveryGrp@nationalrailenq seem to be leaving this rather late to explain when they open considering it's tomorrow morning.
@MrTimDunn@nationalrailenq@PickGS@RailDeliveryGrp@surbitonian RDG although you now need a login to get hold of the Excel file (it’s a biggie) or the Knowledge Base API!! There’s a link on the NRE domain somewhere to find it!!
Shall we play guess the CRS code? My fave is POO!!
@Richard_K_H Hi there. Sorry to hear this, you will need to give our Customer Relations team a call on 0345 600 7245 Option 8. They will be able to check this over for you. Thank you. - Nikki
Thx for that observation! I’ll file it. Anyway, stations are also the place where aggressively modern technology (the trains) meet humanity and the arts (the buildings) which tend to look backwards and reflect the place. So it’s a clash of ideologies. There’s always story there. Back to ticketing btw - i rarely comment on ticketing as “look how expensive it is compared to X” is too easy to write and it’s complex to answer and people don’t like hearing complicated rationales. But that’s life … anything explained here will upset someone who thinks they’re the genius. But having coordinated Advance Purchase %off Promo Sales for most UK TOCs when I was at @thetrainline, been its travel ed for a few years under the much-missed stewardship of @Richard_K_H and sent literally billions of emails and notifications, I heart train ticketing . Srsly tho; i tend to think stations are memorable places because they are where so many emotional (good & bad) experiences play out; leaving old lives, starting new ones, holidays, adventures, commutes, group or family moments… stations are their very public theatres.
