You say that but I don't think you really understand where this is going for you. At this stage when it's clear that we've been betrayed. You are the front runner in this betrayal. You come on here and insult us every day. @LeaderJohnThune is going to be removed one way or the other. If the senate does it. You might save your own career. If the people have to do it. They'd join together and refuse the gavel, but instead, they're silently participating. This will be remembered at the ballot box. They've chosen to allow @LeaderJohnThune to torch their carriers.

These short sessions during the Memorial Day work period keep the Senate technically in session (per the NLRB v. Noel Canning precedent) so recess appointments can’t be used to bypass the confirmation process. Leadership rotates the duty among available senators.

They gotta draw the line somewhere. If the all refuse to gavel in and stand up for what's right. None of them have spoken out against this. None of them have spoken out against @LeaderJohnThune. @SenRickScott and @BasedMikeLee post every day with insulting posts that are nothing more than a smoke screen. They're aiding @LeaderJohnThune in running out the clock. Soon they'll confess that we're out of time. They'll apologize and act like they tried when in reality. They haven't even addressed the real problem.

You do realize that if he refused to gavel in, it would not have changed the ability of Trump to do recess appointment. The only thing it would have accomplished is Hawley losing his committee assignments. Another senator would have been appointed that day to gavel in the session.
