@chrisoffner3d fun fact - the object detection used to display things in the car is used only for that and has nothing to do with the model which is used to drive the actual car

@PawelHuryn this is my complaint with most open source models - they are terrible at tool calling

Everyone's calling Gemma 4 "near AGI." Has anyone actually tried coding with it? I ran E4B on a 16GB MacBook via Ollama. Genuinely impressive model for its size. But it can't use tools in Claude Code. Chat works. Function calling doesn't. The model has its own tool call schema - and the tooling layer can't parse it yet. Benchmarks measure chat. Agents need tools.

I think @cursor_ai 3 shipped everything I wanted. - Beautiful new UI - See agents across all repos - Move between cloud and local seamlessly - See diff, PR status, and local changes - Switch easily from agent mode into editor for the hand crafted details 😍

Dear @Tesla - When my friend rides in the car with me, she usually rides up front and DJs as she has a M3 and is used to changing the music in a Tesla. The past two rides, she has been in the back seat of my ‘26 MYP to allow others to sit in the front. She wants to be able to control the music from the back seat more. She wants a search bar and such so she can DJ from the back. I understand many parents could easily get annoyed by this, so if you add it, I could be a toggle maybe? Thanks!

I made an app to fix my terrible posture. It uses my MacBook Pro camera to watch me work. When AI detects that I’m sitting like a shrimp 🦐, it sends me a notification with a preview of my posture so I can reposition myself. Everything stays local. It works offline too. > supershrimp.io And because apparently my brain only responds to fake rewards, I added XP: good posture makes my shrimp evolve (currently level 7).

@INwl @LoftusSteve why so mad lol if the driver has to take over then they take over 🤷🏼‍♂️ fsd + the occasional takeover is going to be 50x safer then the average ~70 year old driving

@RileyBigMac @LoftusSteve Yes well done dumb fuck. But the point is that on a single country lane it can drive but if the driver has to take over then what happens? As by his own admission they cannot drive.

It annoys me watching this. My Mum can't drive anymore and my Dad has never been able to. Subsequently both have lost their freedom. Both could regain it today, but due to our slow to react, risk averse backwards country they will likely die waiting for this.
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

This 93 year old has found new freedom after she bought a new @Tesla Model Y with FSD. She also uses Grok navigation. "Although she has always been a good driver, my mom can now drive without the fear or fatigue that can naturally come with age. No more relying on others for every trip. No more feeling stuck. This is true mobility that can spark new adventures in a still adventurous women!" (via Dan Doyle's Family Channel. Full video below)

@INwl @LoftusSteve except there's hundreds of videos of fsd handling the most complex roads in europe already... also some people in europe have already found a way to run fsd here and it works perfectly in tons of challenging situations

@LoftusSteve Yea it would be lovely but the fact of the matter is that our roads are so much more complex than Americas straight wide roads. It promotes lazy driving and id rather people behind the wheel of the car could actually drive. Be a good son and drive your parents where they need.

i don't see how @cursor_ai survives - for $200/mo, you can essentially get unlimited usage on claude / codex that same usage would cost thousands on cursor even if cursor harness is better, the price difference is just wild

One problem in Europe is there's no political representation for people who just want freedom The right wing is pro-censorship and anti-privacy The left wing wants to make everything about climate change and degrowth and import the entire third world There's no sane pro-business pro-privacy anti-censorship sane-immigration parties
NXT EU@NXT4EU

This is how European political groups voted on Chat-Control. Green: Stopping Chat-Control Red: Allowing Chat-Control The difference was one vote.
