The Senate passed a War Powers Resolution to end Trump's illegal, failing war on Iran. The lone House Democratic holdout said he'd vote for it. Then, House Republicans pulled down a vote on the War Powers Resolution. They're cowards who care more about Trump than America.

Republicans just passed their hate-fueled Don't Say Trans bill that infringes on American students' First Amendment rights by censoring curricula and banning books, and could put children in harm's way by requiring schools to out trans students in certain situations, even if doing so would put them in physical danger. Whether Republicans choose to acknowledge this fact or not, transgender people exist and I will continue fighting for their rights and celebrating their identities.

Attending a court hearing isn’t a crime. Seeking asylum isn’t a crime. In fact, it’s the exact opposite: it’s following the law and doing the right thing.   Yet in a blatant violation of due process, ICE has been detaining immigrants at the very moment they are trying to comply with the law. Although a judge ruled that these courthouse arrests are prohibited, Congress must act as well. My Immigration Court Due Process Protection Act would explicitly prohibit ICE from arresting immigrants at courthouses.

I am an immigrant. I became a citizen. I was elected to Congress. And I will never stop fighting for every person who came to this country chasing something better. Right now, families in our district and across this country are living in terror. Children are going to school not knowing if their parents will be there when they get home. This is not immigration enforcement. This is a deliberate campaign of fear and punishment targeting communities of color. And we will not accept it.

8 years ago, Trump ripped up the JCPOA — a deal that prevented Iran from developing a nuclear weapon. Now, this regime has chosen Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, neither of whom has relevant experience, to try to negotiate the same deal Trump killed in 2018. It's ridiculous.
