Spare us this belated concern! Where was this urgency for the past 3 years? As the COHA was systematically dismantled by Fed—through drone strikes, siege conditions, blocked services,& the continued presence of nonENDF forces—over million IDPs & refugees have been left to suffer

Dear @EU_Commission What you’re describing is a very serious and painful situation, and it’s understandable to feel anger and urgency when people are suffering and basic services aren’t reaching them. @ymahmoudali @antonioguterres @CanadaEthiopia @UKinEthiopia @StateDept The statement you quoted reflects the kind of language often used by external actors like the European Union—they emphasize de-escalation and dialogue, but that can feel far removed from realities on the ground in Tigray Region, especially when there are reports of restricted access to banking, fuel, medical care, and humanitarian aid. Those kinds of constraints—if they’re occurring—have severe human consequences, particularly for displaced people who haven’t been able to return home. The Pretoria Agreement was meant to stop large-scale fighting and open the door to restoring services and addressing political disputes. But like many peace agreements, implementation is uneven and contested. Issues like territorial control, the return of internally displaced persons (IDPs), and full restoration of services are often the hardest parts—and they’re exactly where delays or breakdowns create the most frustration and harm. When you ask “what do you want us to do,” that sounds less like a literal question and more like a cry for accountability and recognition. For people affected, some of the most realistic avenues—however imperfect—tend to be: documenting conditions and ensuring credible information reaches international bodies and media, supporting or connecting with humanitarian organizations that can advocate for access, engaging diaspora networks that often have more visibility and influence internationally. None of those are quick solutions, and they don’t replace the responsibility of governments or international institutions. But historically, sustained visibility and pressure have sometimes helped shift responses, even if slowly. If you want, I can walk through what specific mechanisms exist (for example within the UN system) for reporting humanitarian access issues or how similar situations have been addressed in other conflicts. @BerhanuAsres #StopsiegeonTigray and #EcononicBlockades #Justice4Tigray

Europe Waking up now? Why are #European governments now raising alarms about “de-escalation” just as #Tigray seeks to exercise its constitutional right to form a government? This comes after Abiy effectively dismantled the Pretoria Agreement, first by undermining it and, over the past two years, by failing to honor its commitments, despite repeated appeals from Tigray for full implementation and a genuine peace. Recently he killed it by unilaterally extending TIRA using expired decrees that completely negate the Pretoria Agreement. Why don’t these countries ask Abiy to stop his belligerence? Why have these governments not instead called on Abiy to respect the COHA, constitution, as well as the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the people of Tigray? #AvertWar #KeepPeace #RespectPeopleRights #EndTigraysSuffering @AsstSecStateAF @AzeemIbrahim @_AfricanUnion @EU_Commission @Europarl_EN @USEmbassyAddis @GermanyinUSA @AmnestyEU @hrw @DawitSeyoum14 @Ethioforumm

Ethiopia Ramps Up Arms Imports as Tigray Tensions Boil The UAE continues to arm #Ethiopia, most recently with Calidus MCAV‑20 AMPVs. During the #Tigray war, UAE’s air bridge was a lifeline for the ENDF. Emirati air support and drones were decisive in preventing #ENDF’s collapse.

“The international community underwrote a genocide in order to overturn #Tigray’s democratic will — that’s what happened. We were punished by genocide for voting. So, you would understand if there is a fear of demanding that we get to vote again.” — Semhal Meles

Deliver it to General Tadesse Woreda ! @AfricaUnions @UKinEthiopia @EU_Commission @SecMarcosR5215 @antonioguterres @USEmbassyAddis 📍 Genocidal P.P banned "subsidy" budgets while public servants starved and schools were closed. 📍 Oil exports to Tigray have been completely cut off and the people are suffering from transportation problems and living standards. 📍 When you plant medicines and people suffer and die for lack of medicines. 📍 While in Afar, he established and armed anti-existence of Tigray militias and fired on the people and army of Tigray. 📍 When casualties are caused when drones are fired at people and Sarawat. 📍 When our displaced people suffer from hunger and disease in the holes of Kenda(Tents )and die and are eaten by wolves. 📍 Tigrayan traders are threatened with illegal interest rates. 📍 When our troops and troop leaders are darkened where they are not. 📍 When the people are in serious trouble because they are not allowed to send cash to Tigray. I am ashamed and choked that you did not go to Addis Ababa to ask for these and other very serious problems that were deliberately decided and implemented to destroy Tigray. Your report alone has also made me hold the view that you have wisely carried out the missions of destruction that Abiy hired you to weaken and disrupt Tigray. What will your power do without a budget, without staff salaries, without fuel? What will he do? Say it with an urgent logo ! Fall and get up ! Get back to your fighting ! @BerhanuAsres #Justice4Tigray #solutionforTigray needed !
