Instead, she has to take care of a baby. What about her? An actual living human being??? “Abortion ends potential life”… So do property disputes, war, and genocide. You only seem to care about lives when women don’t give birth to them.

There is precedent for what OP said.

My issue with this kind of thing is that Jesus’ ministry and the work of the early Christians was always a “bottom up” approach not a “top down” approach. Jesus washed people’s feet, he preached in rural areas a lot, Christianity was always about serving others not governing others. The difference is “how can I help you” as opposed to “this is what I’m telling you to do.” James 1:27 tells us “religion that God finds acceptable is religion that manifests itself by serving orphans and widows” and James goes on later to warn Christians “don’t presume to be leaders and teachers”
