The Boys Season 5 is one of the worst final seasons in TV history. A whole bunch of nothing happens throughout the entire final season.

The Boys Season 5 is very likely heading to a Game of Thrones level finale and its making me genuinely sad. This season has absolutely struggled with pacing, its struggled with writing and has frankly entirely failed to feel like a final season. Episode 7 is good in a vacuum, it has plenty of interesting character moments and drama but as THE penultimate episode of the entire series? There is simply no logical way to wrap The Boys up in a satisfying manner in one more episode, this has 0 feeling of finality in any sense so far and the constant cowardly writing that refuses to push the envelope properly continues to be a huge issue. The marketing, looking back with the destroyed Vought tower feels so misleading and it makes me so sad. Its sad to see one of my favorite shows that had a genuinely fantastic run with Seasons 1-3 completely fumble and stumble towards its end. Maybe they aim to stretch this plot out over The Boys Mexico spin off, otherwise, I cannot possibly see this show wrap up in a satisfying way next week. Whatever they do, its going to feel rushed and unearned. I don’t think it was hard to make a Season 3 level season with multiple major fight scenes, and character arcs wrapping up, especially with how Ryan has effectively been written out of the show despite being the most important aspect of S1-3. I am just disappointed.

Once MJ had a team good enough to compete for a title, he won a title (actually 3 in a row). Once LeBron’s team was good enough, he lost to the Mavericks. Yeah MJ lost in 95 coming back from baseball, cuz he and his team weren’t good enough. The only Finals where LeBron should get a pass is the GS teams with Durant cuz they were better. After he went to LA, his teams weren’t good enough outside of the bubble title when he beat Jimmy Butler. Just like MJ in Was, he wasn’t good enough to carry a bad team. You can't count MJ's 1st 6 years because his team wasn't ready to win. You also can't count MJ losing to the Magic in 1995 because he was still in "baseball shape" Oh, and you also count MJ's 2 horrible years with the Wizards because he was old. Can only use the 6 years he won a title. GOAT.

That is why the lakers wont beat OKC in 7 games for the next 5 years. Luka is 27... you wont get over this OKC era until he is past his prime of 25 to 30. Capitalize on getting some draft stock. Dont get fooled by his 30ppg. Look at the bigger picture.
