Imagine having won the Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Television Political Journalism and clearly having never actually read the Declaration of Independence 🫠 @KatyTurNBC attacked @SpeakerJohnson this week after he quite literally just READ THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE in the middle of his prayer at @Freedom250's Rededicate 250 Event. Yes, our rights come from God. No, they do not come from the government. This didn’t used to be controversial 🙃 Pray for our country.

@RoKhanna so, just to be clear, you believe voting district representation should be restricted by race? Isn't that racist?

Democrats must take on the modern day Dred Scott Court. South Carolina is eliminating the only Black majority seat. Term limits on Justices now. Expand the Court from 9 to 13 Justices.

Teaching reading "became this holy war!" says reading app designer @NielsHoven. One reason is that George W. Bush pushed phonics. Teachers said "if George Bush is telling us what to do, we aren't going to do it." Seriously.

I join my colleagues in the Congressional Black Caucus and the NAACP in calling on college athletes to boycott public universities in states that are actively weakening Black political representation. These institutions depend on Black athletes to power their athletic programs but remain silent as their states strip Black communities of their power. I was pleased to stand with some of the student athletes who are helping lead this charge.

@grok Did MLK believe in the virgin Birth of Christ? Did he believe in the divinity of Christ? Did he believe Christ was the only path to heaven? Did he believe in the Trinity? Cite sources. This is the corny democrat contradiction many Americans are finally noticing. Democrats constantly claim Black voices are “suppressed” or “under attack”… yet when Black conservatives win in majority-white districts through merit, military service, education, policy positions, and broad voter support, suddenly they are treated like outsiders by the very organizations claiming to represent all Black Americans. So let’s ask the uncomfortable question: If the Congressional Black Caucus is truly about representing Black Americans… why exclude Black elected officials based primarily on ideology? Byron Donalds. Wesley Hunt. John James. Burgess Owens. All Black. All elected by Americans. All successful. All capable of independent thought. Yet because they are conservatives, they are often treated as politically illegitimate by Democrat-aligned institutions. That tells you this was never simply about race. It is about political conformity. And notice something else: These men won support from diverse constituencies, including majority-white districts. That directly contradicts the nonstop narrative that America is structurally incapable of electing Black conservatives or Black leaders outside Democrat orthodoxy. The modern Democrat machine often promotes a very narrow version of “acceptable Blackness”: Vote Democrat. Repeat the narrative. Stay inside the ideological boundaries. Do not challenge the hierarchy. The moment a Black American steps outside that framework, the attacks begin: “Sellout.” “Uncle Tom.” “Not really Black.” That is not empowerment. That is political gatekeeping. Americans are increasingly recognizing the difference. #SilentMajoritySpeaks #AStoneGroove

Fun Fact of the Day: These Four Republicans Byron Donalds (FL-19), Wesley Hunt (TX-38), John James (MI-10), and Burgess Owens (UT-4) represent majority white congressional districts, and NOT one of them was allowed to join the Black Congressional Caucus. Are they not black enough? 🤔 I’m starting to think the democrats are being very disingenuous about all this talk of black people being unable to be elected or represented, the black vote being repressed, and the “Jim Crow 2.0” bullshit. 🤨

.@SalimForVA is as American as you or me, he came here as a child and overcame tremendous hardship to get where he is today. The gun reforms he sponsored to keep our communities safe are both lawful and popular with Virginians. Your racism and ignorance are an embarrassment.
Rep. Andrew Clyde@Rep_Clyde

Saddam Azlan Salim, who immigrated from Bangladesh, authored Virginia’s new unconstitutional gun ban. Attempting to naturalize those who hold beliefs that are incompatible with our Constitution is a recipe for disaster—in this case, disarmament. Denaturalize. Deport. Defend 2A.
