I have more Ivy League degrees than you, and they’re not worth anything.

I share @megankstack's exasperation, but to those who say that canine rape is impossible, despite the many Palestinians who have described it, I'd note that at least three different medical journal articles discuss rectal injuries in humans from anal penetration by dogs. Sigh.

.@GoldmanSachs: Annualized returns on S&P 500 10yrs out in single digits/negative 99% of time when starting w/ valuations at current levels

HISTORIC CRUSHED VIX $VIX just went from above 31.50 to below 16.20 within 27 trading days (intraday, not at the close). A massive turnaround in a very short time. How massive? There's only been one time in the history of $VIX that it went from above 31.50 to below 16.20 in such a short time frame; in early 2019. At that time, $SPX had just exploded upward almost 10% in 25 trading days and people on this very app were certain the market was preparing for another quick nosedive. The chart below shows SPX during the VIX smash (left of the brown line) and then how SPX did over the next 6 months (from 0.00%, right of the brown line). BUT @ODDSTATS, CAN YOU EXPLAIN THIS IN ENGLISH BECAUSE I'M NOT SMART ENOUGH TO READ A CHART? Sure. Despite everyone on this app being certain the market would immediately crash following such a quick VIX collapse and SPX run-up, the market just kept going up and all OTM puts at least 6 months out expired worthless. Does this mean you should buy calls? How would I know? This chart shows 2019, not 2026. I know...it IS amazing to have me back even if you can't understand a word I'm saying.

I want to amplify this: @jpmorgan has 300k employees In today’s environment it’s stochastically certain that 1. qualified Jewish candidates are being passed over for hiring & promotion 2. Jewish employees are subject to workplace ribbing about being baby killers or owning rape dogs etc JPM’s defense against *massive* class action lawsuits is that it has strict corporate policy / zero tolerance and can’t be held responsible for individual actions But if it has a NYT Corporate Subscription that shreds its defense How can it argue it has zero tolerance for narratives it is paying the NYT to spread amongst its employees. It can’t. It’s going to lose Imagine an enterprising lawyer training an AI on only NYT coverage since 10/7 and asking it in court for its opinions about Jews. Lowest hanging nut ever. Once JPM understands the legal liability it (and other similar corporations) will have to cancel their NYT’s corporate subscriptions which will put the Sleazeburgers out of business

I've been around this business for a while now. For the first time though the AI madness really feels like the heady days of 1999, when both the Internet- and I- were young.

To everyone with a dial up connection. That happened in 1995 with the broad availability of Netscape navigator. I mention this backdrop to put today in some context. The Information Age was a mostly slow burn from the home pc to the web browser. Massive great things happened

This is the due process the administration is offering me, corrupt and unprecedented: "Internal board documents obtained by The New York Times show that the case was considered high priority even before the board officially received it. “Please process as quickly as possible,” said another note, from October. Another document shows that the court’s chair — its highest ranking member — oversaw the case from early on." This story proves that the Trump administration's treatment of my case has always been corrupt and retaliatory. They put me through a sham immigration process while guaranteeing the outcome in advance. nytimes.com/2026/05/08/nyr…

Actions like the one planned for tonight by PAL-Awda outside Park East Synagogue are intended to create fear in the hearts of Jewish New Yorkers and stigmatize our community. This is part and parcel of the rising antisemitism that we are facing. Whatever your politics, whatever your views, this is not the New York way and should be condemned. The right to free speech, even when it is condemnable, is sacrosanct. So, too, is the safety of New Yorkers. I am grateful to the NYPD for the work that I am confident they will do this evening to protect those entering Park East Synagogue and make sure that a protest does not turn into a gauntlet of hate through which Jews must pass.

Today will be the 2nd consecutive day the S&P 500 $SPY closes at a record high, with more than 4% of its stocks hitting 52-week lows. Anyone wanna guess the only other time in 100 years this has happened?

Being a VP is really the sweet spot of banking and private equity jobs You are just senior enough to avoid most of the grunt work that blows up your late nights and weekends And you are also just junior enough to not have any real pressure to generate P&L and chase clients right away Most friends I know who have gone through it all tend to agree that your VP years are the golden years on the finance career track

INSANE: @TheNewSchool student government has doubled down on its intent to sanction TNS Hillel until it cuts ties with Israel. The University Student Senate claims it has "the authority to determine the funding eligibility of any student organization." TNS administration has said the student government does not have the power to defund Hillel. @LeoTerrellDOJ @EDSecMcMahon @usedgov @EdWorkforceCmte @EdWorkforceDems
