His name is David Munene Mwaniki from Embu. On the 30th of March 2026 David was arrested by Kenya Forest officers in Kangaita. He was brutally assaulted by the forest officers and later booked at Kerugoya Police Station and the day he was presenteed in court he asked for medical attention telling the court that he was beaten on the head. The court ordered immediate medical attention and at Kerugoya Level 5 Hospital where he was taken, Doctors found internal bleeding after a head scan. He was later transferred to Embu Level 5 Hospital where he succumbed on the 8th of April 2026. The post-mortem report confirms that David died from multiple injuries caused by blunt force trauma. David is another victim of extrajudicial killings. #JusticeForDavidMunene
