Are you nuts? Probably, but rhetorical question. Doctors NEVER disclose every treatment option. They stick to their talking points, regardless of science. Without regulations on what Doctors can say, then a doctor might accidentally say "It's ok to keep the child", can't have that.

@nationalpost Doctors have a duty to disclose all available treatment options, including MAID. It’s a criminal offence to counsel a person to die by suicide, but doctors counsel to inform, explore and discuss, not to persuade. No doctor should be prevented from discussing MAID.

My son is 4. Anaphylactic to milk, peanut, tree nuts, sesame, egg. He's been on OIT for 2 years, and he is now able to have 15ml milk, 10ml egg, 1-2 of every nut daily. If he has whey he still goes into anaphylactic shock. He might never get rid of his allergies, but through OIT we know he won't die if accidentally ingested. We have never requested his school or care centers restrict allergens. They have epi pens, he knows to not eat other peoples food, even candy. He's good about it. If a 4yo can do it, surely this lady can figure it out.

THIS IS WILD… Passenger says United denied a simple request that could literally save their life. Severe peanut allergy. One exposure = possible fatal reaction. All they asked for? A small buffer zone on the plane. Instead… they were told to basically deal with it and “email the company.” On a packed flight where people are eating inches away… That’s not a minor issue. That’s life or death. Do airlines have a responsibility here… or is this asking too much? ⬇️ 🇺🇸

I will never understand the rationalization of cooking the ground beef BEFORE the onions. Onions first!!

Dirty 30s, WW2, and a lot of other sh1t taught older generations that they needed to survive, not thrive. They didn't spend a single cent on extravagants, no travel or fun things. They worked their assets off so their family would survive. Spend some time with older folks, and learn from them before you bash em.

Older generations say “we all struggled in our 20s.” No, you didn’t. You didn’t pay $3200 for rent and $10 for eggs. You didn’t graduate into $50K student debt and $0 job security. Gen Z isn’t dramatic. They’re drowning.

@Harry__Faulkner How about you employ CANADIANS first!? If a business hires a TFW before a Canadian, they should sued. Sorry, but not Sorry Timmies, but hire Canadians first. Shut the entire program down.

BC Premier David Eby says he is "not a fan of the temporary foreign worker program." Eby says the problem is that the program does not provide a pathway to citizenship, and that TFWs face deportation.

@cjzafir Mcps are not dead. They're quite strong in enterprise setups. You want AI to pull accurate data, and not imagine it. Natural language querying where the AI has direct access to facts is important. For this I use on prem so it can't learn or call home with this data.

Imagine you had to choose your life at age 40: Option A: Single. No kids. $10M net worth. Travel anywhere. Total freedom. Quiet house. Quiet holidays. Option B: Married. 3 kids. $1M net worth. Drive a Toyota. Chaos every morning. Loud house. Full dinner table. Be honest, which life are you choosing?

A new hire brought a 64-ounce water jug to his desk. It looked like a camping accessory. He took a sip every fifteen minutes. I timed the arm movement. Lift, tilt, swallow, set down. The whole ritual disrupted his typing cadence. I approached him and tapped the plastic container. I asked if he was planning to cross a desert or finalize the Q1 deck. He said staying hydrated helps his brain function. I explained that excessive hydration leads to excessive restroom breaks. It is a cycle of inefficiency disguised as wellness. I confiscated the jug and replaced it with a thimble-sized espresso cup. I logged "liquid asset mismanagement" in his onboarding review. We are thirsty for success, not tap water.
