I hope @TexasAFT would also get behind Gov @abbott's proposal for a 2/3rds super majority requirement for passing tax hikes and more bond debt. The tax and bond elections must be with the mid term or general election dates. No more ghost elections where regular voters don't show up but the ISD employees and preferred vendors do. No more voter suppression elections by the ISD Swamp.

Abbott appointees have nothing to do with the individual tax and spend local ISD Boards. This is the way the game is played. Big developers pay for the campaign for the VATRE and/or bond debt. ISD then picks the election date for the lowest possible turnout. The tax and spend measure almost always passes. Some in the ISD Swamp say its like fishing in a bucket. If you are serious about stopping this voter suppression and corruption, I urge @TexasAFT to get behind @brianeharrison 's bill to outlaw pay to play. If you donate to a VATRE or ISD bond campaign, you or your business can NOT get any contracts with the ISD or access any of the funding.

@brianeharrison Stay on top of this story Brian. I think the 9th Circuit will reverse this decision by a Biden judge and allow the merger to take place. If not Ellison has said he will pull Paramount out of California if they stop the merger. Don't let the tax and spenders in the Texas Leg come up with billions more of our tax money trying to get Paramount to move here. They can do it without our tax dollars. @RealSteveBellow Another Biden judge from the ALL Democrat cheerleading team of San Fran and Oakland District court. This will not stand up at the 9th Circuit. DOJ had already cleared the merger and the shareholders of both companies had approved the sale. Ellison has already said if Democrats stop the merger he is pulling Paramount out of California. I'm sure Texas will give billions in tax credits to make it happen. So what if the homeowners of Texas see their property tax bill go up big time.
