@dfossier Not quite- the mayor appoints all of those members- they just have to reside in the different districts. But the terms are staggered. So an incoming mayor is stuck with a majority of the prior mayor's selections for several years

JP Morrell claims that City Council has no control over the Sewerage and Water Board. It looks like they control 5/9 board members with the Mayor being a 6th. The Board has ultimate control.

We aren’t losing any revenue. Because there would be no revenue to lose without the exemption on computer equipment. Another point is that they didn’t ask for property tax or income tax breaks. Rural areas are undergoing a boom & so are local governments

This weekend we once again changed our clocks and lost an hour of sleep.  It’s time we pick a time and keep it.  Congress should pass legislation to enact year-round Daylight Saving Time and stop forcing Americans to change their clocks.
