i have no idea if this is legal so don't come at me but my friend runs a casino night in utah and it might be the coolest business i have seen in a while you pay $20 at the door and he hands you a stack of monopoly money real dealers on site running blackjack, texas hold'em, roulette, and craps all night whoever accumulates the most monopoly money by the end of the night wins a prize last week he gave away a brand new moped he is getting hundreds of people through the door at $20 a head and his next move is raising the price and taking it on the road as a pop-up casino night across the state i don't know what his margins look like but i know a packed room of hundreds of people at $20 a head adds up fast the creativity alone deserves respect

@SuburbanMilkman @QuantumAlteredX You know driving the speed limit in the left lane causes more traffic which leads to more accidents, right? Maybe it’s just me, but folks who cause accidents are assholes.

@QuantumAlteredX This shit is not funny. It’s deadly. I drive the speed limit in the left lane because it is safer. I would have chased this guy down, pitted him, and dragged his sorry ass out of the car before I beat him into a pulp. Oh, and yeah, the punk ass behind the camera can get it too.

@gotrice2024 I hate when people are assholes to folks just trying to do their minimum wage job. Yea the employee likely screwed up by not telling him beforehand but what good is arguing gonna do? There’s a sandwich place on every corner dude. Go somewhere else

This gentleman went to get a quick bite to eat, he ordered his sandwich the way he wanted it and when the employee rung him up, he tried to give the cash. The employee became annoyed and told him that due to a system problem, they couldn’t take cash and told him he would be throwing his sandwich away. The gentleman even said that since it was an issue on their end could he just get the sandwich for free since it’s not his fault they couldn’t accept cash and the employee became even more annoyed and said no. I have a feeling the employee was annoyed because he knew it was his fault he didn’t let the customer know beforehand what was going on, shouldn’t the employee just let him have the sandwich though?

@ekun_II You spent $30k on a vacation but went with the armpit of the airline industry in order to get to this expensive vacation? Of all the opportunities to cut costs for vacations, airline travel isn’t one of them. Everyone knows how awful Spirit is. You get what you pay for

I will not send you guys DMs; I will make it public. My family has been planning this vacation for over 9 months. We paid for our suite on the cruise for a family of 5, totaling upwards of $7,000. We are supposed to arrive at the harbor by 2 p.m., with the ship sailing at 4. We booked a super-early flight that cost a little over $1,400, and I paid $240 for extra luggage. For this vacation, my wife and I cleared our calendars, with a running cost of at least $30,000 for the whole week. Last night we tried to check in but realized the flight was overbooked, and even after checking in, we weren’t assigned seat numbers. I also paid $80 for remote parking at DFW for 6 days, just for convenience. We told my wife we had to get to the airport. Our flight was at 6:30 a.m., so we left home at 3:30 a.m. and arrived before 5 a.m. The first attendant told us there weren’t enough flight attendants, so the flight was cancelled. We spoke to another one, who said it was a weather issue in Miami. What I know is that the flight went to Miami, but because it was overbooked, they randomly cancelled some passengers. What upsets me most is that my wife warned me about this airline. Also, my son is supposed to turn 9 on Wednesday, all of that is gone. Royal Caribbean did not refund our money. My children’s spring break and my son’s birthday have been ruined just because we booked with Spirit Airlines.

@ekun_II We're sorry this has been your experience. It's not what we aim for! Send us a DM, and we'd be happy to help out.

@Detroitboss_RRP @ZeekArkham Anyone who doesn’t have their life together enough to get an ID/birth certificate definitely doesn’t have voting very high on their priority list. Pretty sure they got more important shit to worry about

The Brennan Center for Justice shows that 13% of Black voting-age citizens lack a current government photo ID, compared to 8% of whites. Is it racist to state a fact? It’s Jim Crow because it’s a poll tax that will disproportionately affect Americans. The SAVE Act requires a passport or birth certificate in person to register. 2/3 of Black Americans don’t have a passport. You’re defending a "show your papers" law that creates a $165+ tax (passport cost) just to exercise a constitutional right

Dear Chuck Schumer, Hi. Black dude here. I can trace my family ancestry to slavery. I even know where they were slaves. My mom experienced Jim Crow. I think I’ve watched every episode of “Eyes On the Prize” when I was younger. With that said… Can you directly explain to me how the SAVE Act is “Jim Crow 2.0?” Literally every black person I know has ID. Literally every black person I know has a car or at least a ride. Literally every black person I know knows how to vote (well… except the ones with felonies… but they don’t count). With your advanced white liberal thinking, you must know more than me. Apparently, as I experience daily on this app, white liberals are experts on being black; even more so than actual black folks. Perhaps you could explain it like I’m five. I’d look it up on the internet, but Kathy Hochul has already told me I don’t know what a computer is and Joe Biden said I can’t navigate it, anyway. Looking forward to your answer. No hugs. Zeek

This woman called the police on her neighbors once, three years ago for having a loud party at night. For the next three years, every time the neighbors go by the hour or even their friends go by, they honk their horn in their cars at her house at all hours of the days. She’s grown very irritated at this and feels like this is harassment. The police can’t do anything about people honking their horn at you so she had to suffer in silence until today she finally snapped and laid into them. Its affecting her young children’s sleeping schedules too, is there anything else she can do at this point to get it to stop?

@afriedduck @gotrice2024 @k_elliiii She called the cops bc cars passing by her house do a couple beeps. If she’s calling the cops over that, odds are she’d call the cops for other little things too. I mean that house across the street would need stadium quality speakers in order for her to have a legit complaint

@DKnucklz @ClownWorld Taken a few Civics classes between high school and college and I still think the cameraman is an asshole. If you’re doing something strictly to annoy people and/or get a reaction, you’re an asshole. Yes, you have a right to film. But I also have the right to tell you to fuck off

Yes, we fully understand the industry stubbornly refuses to locally stock (or bring, when there is a strong clue from the failure) any part, even the very most common parts, for the most common models and brands they service. It's more profitable to make the customer pay to come twice, every time.

@AndrewMack123 @nk4927 @redditrepostss Clearly you don’t understand. If the answer is “oh I spent 3 years traveling the country living out of my van” they wouldn’t care. But if the answer is “oh I was locked up for 3 years on an attempt murder charge” all of a sudden they care about the gap very much

@redditrepostss IMO asking about gaps or discriminating against gaps should be made illegal, just like discriminating against stuff like race or gender is illegal. People should be able to take sabbaticals for whatever reason without judgement if they have the savings for it.

🚨 HIS WIFE WAS FOLLOWED BY COPS FOR 20 MINUTES AT 2AM - SO HE FOLLOWED THEM BACK She just got off work. It’s after 2AM. She notices a patrol car sitting behind her and it doesn’t leave. No lights. No siren. Just trailing her turn after turn for twenty minutes straight. She calls her husband and tells him she feels unsafe. So he doesn’t just stay on the phone. He drives ahead of them, parks and waits. On camera, you see the patrol car pass with his wife still in front. He pulls out and follows them. Moments later, right before she’s near home, the red and blue lights flip on. After twenty minutes of shadowing, that’s when they decide to stop her. He walks up filming and asks, “What did you pull her over for, ma’am?” It’s all on video. Be honest, if your spouse called and said a police car had been trailing them that long in the dark, what would you have done?

@Swingthing52 @WallStreetApes So the folks that sold the house were simply not trying to make the most $ possible by doing it off market? Off market sales happen all the time but it 100% reduces the amount of buyers and price.
