Manipur📍 A 16-year-old Class XI student, Hengunsei Khongsai, who is 38% disabled and an orphan raised by his uncle, was allegedly kidnapped by NSCN-IM militants on 13 May 2026 while doing daily wage work during his school holidays. He is among the 14 hostages whose whereabouts remain unknown. We urgently appeal to the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, and security agencies to intervene immediately and ensure the safe rescue of all hostages. No child, especially a disabled minor struggling through poverty, should suffer such brutality.
