Until recently his inflammatory posts on X — threats to invade Kenya, to behead his father’s biggest political rival or demands that Jay-Z hand over his wife, Beyoncé — were dismissed as the antics of a vulgar, arrogant soldier. But no longer. thetimes.com/world/africa/a…

I have watched Rwaboogo’s video calling on Citizens to speak out. I agree citizens MUST speak out. They must speak out against corruption and land grabbers like him. He is trying to incite people against leaders bringing order, like Gen MK. Let him be assured Gen MK has backing of majority Ugandans. Trying to position himself as an alternative opposition to avoid accountability won’t save him.

While critiques of leadership are fair, let’s stick to facts: President Museveni has delivered decades of stability, infrastructure growth & regional security contributions after Uganda’s turbulent past. Gen Muhoozi as CDF has modernized the UPDF with welfare reforms, new assets & effective ops in Somalia/DRC among others Aid shifts reflect global policy changes, not isolation—Uganda is diversifying trade with UAE, India & EAC for $500B ambitions. Age doesn’t erase results; capability is proven by outcomes. Focus on building, not sinking the boat. Uganda moves forward. Keep enjoying your money at the expense of Ugandans.

Guys, Museveni is old (So Very old and frail), and Muhoozi is not capable. Everyone can see it. America can see it. Uganda is no longer a reliable trade partner, security partner, or partner of any kind. Finally, countries are becoming embarrassed to associate themselves with Uganda. However much you may argue, these are fundamental truths. Those of you who support the current regime are in a sinking boat. Things are changing. The problem is that Muhoozi wants to destroy the country in the process. This destruction is exactly what we must stop; otherwise, we will have to rebuild our reputation from scratch. For example, U.S. funding has dropped from about $1 billion annually in 2023 to about $200 million annually because of the January 20, 2025, U.S. executive order halting global development aid. This drop happened within 3 years. Do not get me wrong: I am not overjoyed by this. I think Uganda’s funding should be entirely cut for non-humanitarian purposes because money intended for development goes straight into the pockets of corrupt officials. Now you know why they are so angry. They are no longer in control, and they will not regain that control anytime soon. Museveni is too old. Muhoozi is incapable of running a country. Uganda has become a liability. We will not have a chance to build fair trade relationships and genuine, non-exploitative business partnerships with other countries until Museveni is gone.

TRAVEL ADVISORIES UGANDANS - SOME COMMON SENSE Am amazed at SOME Ugandans reasoning whenever topics like the one below comes up. SOME Ugandans believe that this affects government and not us all which shocks me. LEARN THIS Governments all over the world never run out of money, if citizens don’t pay enough taxes due to lack of economic activities, they borrow against the future of its citizens and spend now. Travel advisories are TRADE BARRIERS, governments hardly trade, they tax traders who are you and me. When I take risks and trade, positively affects me and the people I support or employ then government taxes me. If Uganda advised its citizens against Kenya for example, trade with Kenya would stop because free movement means movement of money and resources and that enhances economic growth. America is a very powerful nation and this isn’t subject to discussion especially by citizens of a less developed country, basically our opinion means almost nothing to them. When they advise against Uganda, many nations are compelled to do the same, when they said to enter America as a Ugandan, spend 21 days in a country that isn’t advised against, many countries did the same. When Americans who many have money come to Uganda, they hire transport services from common man, that common man buys vegetables from mama mbooga, they support local shops, pay rent, school fees to schools, visit fuel stations etc. When say SERENA HOTEL is full, they 300 suppliers who are all businesses employing Ugandans in 1000s make money and that money finds its way into the communities and yes, government will also earn. Uganda for example is buying aero planes from an American company Boeing worth usd 1bn also borrowed by the way, it’s important that we earn from them as well and tourism and other basic trade done by Ugandans is very important. Us who mainly speak good English without ability to manufacture anything of significance, we need them tourists since we can atleast apply ourselves, Try Balance trade through that. Waking up and yapping daily won’t save us, we need to reason well. We all acknowledge, we are a family with many problems amidst us, we can’t say let no one deal with any of us as a family, let’s all die of poverty, that is backwardness. CONCLUSION Saying we deserve being on that list is pure self HATE!

@wekesa_amos Who is to blame for all of this? The poor Ugandans who have no freedom in their own country or the terrorist regime that's violating human rights and treating Ugandans like slaves? Why are you shifting the blame to the victim? What's development if Ugandans have no human rights

@AsikuKenny @angoranni @SimonKaggwaNjal You people from the north hardly pay any taxes. No wonder you're comfortable. Us who pay taxes that are just enriching one family and not doing anything to benefit want change. You're free to stay comfortable. We will continue to fight for good governance and get it some day

@PrinceKMusic1 @Tombuuza @HEBobiwine You just have a kidish mentality. No one overthrows a dictator in a single day. Museveni fought for 20+ years to overthrow the northern dictators. He will also fall . Kaba kadde. Right now our president bobi is cutting off some important branches of the regime b4 the final strike

These documents, publicized under America's public disclosure laws, reveal that the Museveni regime is busy hiring foreign agents in Washington DC to white wash its battered image before the world. According to the documents, the regime is executing agreements with American lobbyists to engage American legislators, NGOs, the media, and others on its behalf. But it's too late because the truth about Uganda is already out and absolutely nothing the regime does can buy it back!

@TheDiplomatcn @HEBobiwine Our country's first priority is the freedom of it's citizens not the useless rebel state. Until Ugandans are free from the rebel, we don't care about diplomatic relations. Uganda has to develop as a republic not a hima dynasty. That will never happen.

@HEBobiwine This is not about the president this is about the development of your country and strengthening relations. Take your time and study diplomatic relations and ways to forge them. In diplomacy you overlook personal reasons and do whatever it takes for the benefit of the state.

If you are asking what Katkkiro @cpmayiga has done for Buganda, see👇👇 Today, Buganda has passed a UGX 409.3 bn Budget for the year 2026/2027. We should note that in 2012/2013 the Kingdom had a budget of UGX 38.8 bn for the 2012/2013 before the arrival of @cpmayiga. This means +954.9% growth almost 10.55 times larger. On average, the Buganda Kingdom budget has grown by 18.33% every year. #EmbaliriraYaBuganda2026
