Kilmeade: What do you say to people like Bernie Sanders who says billionaires don't pay their fair share? Dimon: I don't know what he means by fair share

@RonDeSantis @ChristinaPushaw Same for healthcare

Notable deal in distribution this morning. Sysco is buying Restaurant Depot for $29 billion. Plans to expand RD more aggressively. It gives Sysco a huge entry into cash-and-carry and a large number of independent restaurant customers. restaurantbusinessonline.com/financing/sysc…

This American’s daughter needs a tonsil surgery. The doctor said it would only be about a 20 minute surgery “In case anyone is curious at how f*cked up the United States medical system is, I just got an estimate — estimated cost $108,447.46” Our healthcare system is extortion

🚨 What happens when hospitals get paid more if patients get sicker? A positive COVID test was enough. Remdesivir started immediately. Then sedation. Then ventilators. Complications followed. Kidney injury. Organ failure. Death. And hospitals got a 20% bonus. That incentive structure speaks for itself.

You go to your local medical practice for routine care. The receptionist is American. The nurses are American. But when you finally get into the exam room the physician is an H1B doctor from India or Pakistan. And the next one. And the one after that. This is no longer isolated. Entire practices and departments are quietly filling with physicians from the same two countries through H1B sponsorship. Residency programs show the same heavy concentration. One internal medicine program in Massachusetts just posted 22 out of 25 residents from India alone. There is a good reason this keeps happening. This is their community and they will always prefer people from their own community. There is no shame in hiring from your own community even if they are from another country to practice in the USA. UNDERSTAND THE BIGGER SHAME FOR AN INDIAN OR PAKISTANI WOULD BE TO HIRE AN AMERICAN It will always be this was America and Americans are NOT their community and they do not care about us, never will. They have their own to give work to and they don't care if the people allowing it are doing it for globalist, financial, or compliance reasons. Foreign, Insurance, and Big Business lobbyists expect this from our politicians in return for their campaign contributions. The real issue is not that they network this way. The real issue is that American policy has created the conditions where this preference becomes dominant. Frozen residency caps since 1997 have limited domestic supply while H1B pathways and provisional licenses make importing compliant labor the easier cheaper route for health systems. We have 340 million people in this country and plenty of folks ready to go to medical school. Congress is doing this by design and planned it decades ago. American students and graduates are watching their spots get taken by design. Citations (APA) National Resident Matching Program. (2025). Results and Data: 2025 Main Residency Match.
