Just heard from friends in Ukraine about a Baptist Church intentionally struck by the Russians in Zaporizhzhia. A congregation of 300 who sacrificially built that building to meet for worship. At least 5 victims that we know of, including the pastor. When you read and hear about the war in Ukraine, don't forget that Russians intentionally target, jail, and often murder Baptist and evangelical pastors wherever they take over. Pray for our brave Christian brothers and sisters in Ukraine. Pray for Putin's reign of terror to end. Pray for peace.

The defeat of Viktor Orbán is a defeat for Vladimir Putin and a victory for NATO, for freedom and for democracy. This election saw the highest voter turnout in Hungary’s post-Communist history, with nearly 78% of eligible voters participating. Congratulations to the people of Hungary!

I've always enjoyed visiting Budapest & walking across Chain Bridge. I'm so thankful Peter Magyar won Hungary's election. It's a victory for democracy, for Hungary & for Europe. It's a defeat for advocates of autocracy who tried to prop up failed pro-Putin authoritarian Orban.

Congratulations to the people of Hungary on rejecting the deleterious influence of Russia and China! As a young boy, I was inspired by the Hungarian people’s courageous stand against the Soviets. The future of Hungary belongs to Hungarians.
