To be clear, my only action on IMDb's site was opening a Google result for a movie and viewing that one page. I didn't post, didn't attempt to rate anything. No interaction on my end other than scrolling the page. And confirmed I do have an IMDb account now.

Wut? I just went to @IMDb using a browser that's logged into my @Amazon account, and received this email. Looks like I now have an IMDb account associated with my Amazon-linked email, which is something I never wanted nor signed up for. That's a sketchy way to sign up users.

@PArrowga When you are a full time youtuber, i will seek your advice on youtube. Posting videos which dont do well, like update videos, lowers the average viewcount and thus harms sponsorship offers, also often causes people to unsubscribe. This is a business, not just a hobby.

Adobe is a real piece of shit. In many ways. In this case, they snuck their PDF extension onto my instance of @brave. Not even sure when or how; I just know I didn't do it. Fortunately they hailed their own accomplishment with a pop-up tab, or I might not have noticed.

Total dick move that @UberEats gives the updated ToS agreement consent between the tip screen and the order finalized screen. When you're hungry, already composed a full order, and the restaurant is closing: Here, read this 500-page legal document. Not even a summary of ToS change bullet points. Just "fuck you, go hungry if you want to figure this shit out". This kind of nonsense should be illegal, and probably would be if the @FTC wasn't an impotent shell of dried fecal matter in current times.

That last @UPS rant was me trying to put a vacation hold on my address. But their web/system design continues to amaze, in that the vacation hold is still active despite having ended about 4 months ago. It's not a big deal as I can cancel it and create a new one. But why it doesn't self-cancel is the weird part.

Also, couple of really irritating design decisions on @UPS's site when it is working: 1) When logging in from a fresh browser (bc I did try more than one), this cookie popover appears after a couple of seconds. For some GODFORSAKEN REASON it steals focus away from the user/pw textboxes, and interrupts typing. Yeah, everyone knows everyone uses cookies. STFU and only show that in Europe where annoying nanny state red tape is like cocaine. 2) This chat window pops up all on its own, and is a 3-click process to close. Yes, I'm sure I want to close it. I didn't open it in the first place. Are you sure YOU want to close it, you clingy asshole?

The @UPS site is barely loading, timing out, getting server-side errors, and not able to fetch tracking info when neither of the other 2 problems are occurring. (@FedEx works fine, so I doubt it's my internet connection before you ask.)

So you also can't drag and drop files into iCloud Drive in the web interface?
