@newstart_2024 I personally love my Hong Kong peptide source. The retatrutide I get is powerful. The HGH is so good I can't run more than 4 iu per day. If these pharma companies stop the flow of peptides from China, I'll just travel to China and buy them.
English

Bill Maher hits Huberman with a simple question: “What are peptides?”
The answer unfolds into something much bigger.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids our bodies produce naturally — insulin is one, GLP-1 is another. Now we’re synthesizing advanced versions like retatrutide, a triple agonist (GLP-1 + GIP + glucagon) that’s showing impressive results in trials, with substantial body weight reduction when combined with exercise.
Huberman notes this could become a trillion-dollar drug for Eli Lilly, which is fiercely protecting its patent. Meanwhile, cheaper versions are circulating through compounding pharmacies and gray markets at a fraction of the cost and dose — creating a messy tension between big pharma exclusivity, FDA oversight, faster approval pathways, and real-world access.
It reveals a deep split in how people view these tools: some trust only full pharma + FDA pipelines with extensive trials, while others see the pharma-FDA connection itself as a reason to seek alternatives.
Peptides aren’t a standalone fix — lifestyle still matters hugely — but the discussion exposes the real friction: innovation needs investment, yet high prices and regulation push people toward less-controlled options with safety risks.
What part of this landscape feels most unresolved to you — the breakthrough potential, the access vs. patent fight, or the growing trust divide?

@chaotichermes No reason to use amphetamines now that we have retatrutide.

@Well43394204 @CleansedTweets I'm American. Our roads are much worse, so traffic is worse. And security in airports is beyond ridiculous. I never fly anymore unless I have to, because it so miserable.
English

@SergeInCT @CleansedTweets 四个小时,从北京南站到上海虹桥。高铁从市区车站到市区车站,和坐车到机场,安检,飞抵上海时间差不多,但更舒适

@TheBombayBombil That is crazy. A courier, even in NYC, is insanely expensive just for a dude on a bicycle.
English

It's not two hrs, maybe four.
But even then it is insane.
Ordered 2 scanners at Beijing Dental show last June.
Morning it became clear there was miscommunication, only one had come
We were flying back same night
Dealer simply couriered it from Shanghai and delivered it by 2.30pm

@CleansedTweets 2 hours from Beijing to Shanghai is crazy. That's like 1,000 miles. You can't even fly that far in 2 hours, when you consider take off and landing time.

Who else would you add to this list?

@SergeInCT @MaazMz I would expect some "good faith" from Qualcomm this generation then. They know that the real early buyer is an enthusiast, and we really demand compatibility like no one else.
English

Intel is history now. Either get a MacBook or the snapdragon powered windows laptop. Both of them are insanely powerful and very efficient!
Vadim Yuryev@VadimYuryev
The @Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme is FINALLY here! The CPU perfomance is absolutely insane. It’s now the fastest Windows CPU in the world. And GPU is now 2.3x faster than original X Elite. Basically neck and neck with Intel Panther Lake B390 GPU. Video: youtu.be/-EOHSlp5kcc

@thenvisiblehand @CleansedTweets It can't be as oppressive as the US though. Full body searches and all that?

@SergeInCT @CleansedTweets You also have to go through security and line up. It's not that different to catching a domestic flight

🚨 BILL GATES DEMANDS EVERY AMERICAN BE SCANNED TO "PARTICIPATE" IN THE ECONOMY
Bill Gates just came out and said it plainly. He is calling for biometric identification for all Americans. Why? So you can "fully participate with the economy."
No face scan, no iris read, no vein map? Then you are locked out. No buying, no selling, no living.
At the same time he is rolling out "Digital Public Infrastructure" to "connect society" and supposedly combat climate change. Nice words for what it really is: a total surveillance grid where every transaction, every movement, and every thought can be tracked, scored, and controlled in the name of saving the planet.
This is not help. This is the final lockdown. Your body becomes the password. Your compliance becomes the only way to survive.
They want you fully digitized, fully monitored, and fully owned.
But a quiet resistance is rising. People are building sovereign tools to keep your data, your identity, and your future in your own hands.
Stay awake. Stay sovereign.
The Resistance is Here: @DNAOnChain

@catpoopburglar @DrCamRx Probably anabolic steroids and HGH too. That is actually something that can be managed if you have a team of doctors. Tons of billionaires look unusually good. Look at how jacked Jeff Bezos and his ilk are. Won't let you live longer, but you'll look like a god.
English

@DrCamRx tom ford has had a lot of botox, filler, and plastic surgery over his life time
he just said he took a break from it when he got a child

@CavernaDeHuesos @MaazMz There was an agreement between MS and Qualcomm that mandated exclusivity, but it expired last year. Many of us have been very patient, understanding that issue.
English

@SergeInCT @MaazMz well yes, maybe a thing with Microsoft. They are investing in it so makes sense.
English

@CavernaDeHuesos @MaazMz Qualcomm has not released enough documentation at this point. They say the hardware manufacturers have to do it, but that's bullshit. Anyone can see the Snapdragon machines are all basically the same hardware, just with different chassis and screens.
English

@SergeInCT @MaazMz is the Linux community that has to do the job, what are you talking about?

English

@SergeInCT @CleansedTweets 4.3 hours around from Beijing to Shanghai.
In China, considering the time spent on transportation to and from the airport, security checks, and the time it takes for a plane to taxi after landing, high-speed rail is often faster and more frequent than flying.
English

@morellifit What SS-31 dose do you find most impactful? I have been using 10mg per day. Not sure if 40mg per day is worth it.
English

@TheGalox_ Problem is Windows is total shit and Microsoft only cares about Azure. Qualcomm is not doing enough to support Linux. Their only hope is Linux.
English

As an Iranian, let me tell you what @POTUS is talking about here:
In Iran, if you protest, you die. Not metaphorically. Snipers on rooftops shoot people in the head and chest. In January, the regime massacred thousands in the streets, many of them young people whose only crime was demanding a normal life.
When he says Iranians are telling the U.S. “please keep bombing” he’s describing a population so desperate to be free from a regime that murders them for protesting, that they’re willing to endure war if it means the system that has terrorized them for 47 years finally falls.
You may not understand that. Most Westerners can’t. You’ve never lived in a country where your daughter can be shot in the face for not covering her hair. Where your son disappears into Evin Prison and you get a call to come pick up the body. Where the internet goes dark so the world can’t see the killing.
That’s what “they have lived in a world that you know nothing about” means.
Before the media turns this into “Trump wants to bomb civilians,” understand: the Iranian people have been begging the world to see them for years. This is the first U.S. president to say it out loud.
Rapid Response 47@RapidResponse47
.@POTUS explains to a reporter that the Iranian people yearn for freedom: "We've had numerous intercepts, 'Please keep bombing' ... and these are people that are living where the bombs are exploding... they want freedom. They have lived in a world that you know nothing about."
