@StormslayerDev @StopKilingGames Its just wild to see that they knew people were gonna get very confused by the 'bug' and they still pushed it through. Ofc people are gonna see the 'bug' and think its anything but, drm is not liked by gamers in the slightest.

@StormslayerDev @StopKilingGames I don't think its fake simply because they admitted they knew the 'fix' would cause confusion. They were initially fine with the consumer assuming the worst case. Its possible for it to be both a bug and a test to see if consumers still care about drm.

I tweeted this out earlier, apparently it is fake and this is confirmed to be a bug. I'd like to raise some awareness over the reality of the situation and in support of Support @StopKilingGames Even though it is fake, you should know that companies have the power to do this to you and it's already happened in small instances where companies decide they can take back a product you own. In the second image, this is my licensed copy of GTA Vice City that Amazon revoked upon closing their store. Though the game still "runs" without amazon servers. Every time I start it up it loads about 4 seconds of normal gameplay before I'm prompted with an error message that forces me to close the game. There is no way to redownload my app and it no longer functions, the Amazon store left me with broken software. For the people that defend it yes, it is included in the ToS, but they have sold us this software under the impression that we are able to use it without limitation as if it were a physical copy. To hide such details in the fine print is deceptive and takes advantage of the average consumer. This is fine for PS plus games, this was well communicated that PS plus games can only be accessed with a subscription, not not for digital sales and you should react in defense of what you were sold and hold them accountable.

@Pirat_Nation @DoesItPlay1 Imo they wanted to see how many users were okay with this change so they could more confidently push drm on everything. They saw the huge backlash and are just saving face.

@Pirat_Nation @DoesItPlay1 Its more believable Sony got spooked from the backlash and decided to sweep it under the rug as a bug. Its no secret publishers have been pushing more DRM over the last few years

Insider claims Sony’s recent PS4 and PS5 DRM messages were unintentional. They triggered while fixing an exploit. Sony reportedly knew the interface was confusing but didn’t treat it as urgent. Via @DoesItPlay1

@limitlessdame @MintBlitz This is why ive come around to the idea of just removing the wstr altogether. Cqc engagements are more fun and people dont just immediately charge you. As is atm it feels too weak, but maybe it just shouldn't exist in the first place.

My Marathon Feedback as someone with 300 hours playtime. Wstr shotgun - damage nerf went too far, decrease rate of fire and remove stack overflow for the gun. Limit grenades and equipment in inventory to incentivise tactical use, not spam. New players are being destroyed and not returning, something needs to be done to help them. Endgame content feels inaccessible to the average player, seems like they’ll never get vaults done, let alone the compiler. The reality is this will turn players away from the game regardless of how elite players feel. Be careful with the heavy handed nerfs, a value change might be easier to do than a mechanic change, but I’m wary about the sandbox health when you start doing so many. Finally, nobody should be able to hoard 25 gold mods of a single weapon from a barter. Literally makes the “legendary” part of the gun redundant.

@N_durance @MarathonDevTeam Its a dmg ability with extra steps. Same idea as the implant I suggested, and you could have it 1 shot runners if the drone inv is full. Either you bring in more gear and dump it for the drone (a larger investment) or you loot a bunch of stuff you wouldn't otherwise loot to fill

@N_durance @MarathonDevTeam Because by allowing the claymore interaction to stay your still giving thief a dmg ability! Since it requires the ability + claymore it should reward you generously (being able to place 2 to kill). Otherwise thief just has an extremely weak dmg ability with fewer basic use cases

@PulseAttack @MarathonDevTeam The implant allows for more direct balancing vs 2 pieces of tech. With the earlier idea you could have it need a full inv to equal 2 claymores worth of dmg. How many people are filling up the drone inv to full all the time? Very few, and that still takes some time/investment

@PulseAttack @MarathonDevTeam I agree but 1 claymore only destroys shields, so the reward isn't worth the time to setup and expose yourself. You can accomplish the same, just as safe, by throwing 1 nade from behind cover. Doesn't take as long and gives the same 'reward' here.

@MarathonDevTeam Removes the time to set up, that comes with claymores, but still requires effort to get the most bang for your buck (literally lol)
