@needle_d_16 @avidseries I don't think he answered the Wyoming part and I believe that would be due to Yellowstone both the park and the series but mostly the park. Been through it many times. You're more likely to run into an international visitor than a domestic one.

@avidseries I like the list overall, but I have 2 questions. 1) How is West Virginia more recognizable than Virginia? 2) Why is Wyoming “B”? It seems like an “E” or “F” to me. Not even necessarily criticisms, I just don’t understand.

US state names, which I ranked in tiers, from most globally recognizable ("S") to least ("F").

@Turbotommy In general homicide rates have been declining most everywhere for the last few years, in a lot of cases dipping to historical lows, but the drop seems to be deeper in the larger cities.

@campbellclaret @jk_rowling @RestIsPolitics @SarahEMcBride That intro is what I'd call a pressure cooker. Genuinely and authentically allowing themself to be themselves. I admire transgender people. They cope with shit. And they have a hidden acceptance. Like men who have sex with men (MSM), TERFs consider them a threat. TERFs are vain.

@dantypo It's getting out of hand. They are everywhere and I don't get it. I try to be logical....what is the reason for needing them to be there (outside of service dogs)? I can't find a reason.

Nobody is required to love your dog. I know I sound like a prick. But stop bringing them in stores. Just last Friday, I stopped in a store and a guy in checkout has his dog and it jumps on me as I walk past them. “Oh he just loves people” they say obliviously. So? I’m having to go to customers and the dog got dirt streaks on the thigh of my pants. And spare me the “if you don’t like it, don’t go in the store” bullshit. If you can’t make it through a store without your dog, it’s not me with the issues. I had a dog. It was a great dog. Best part of our family at times. But I expect NOBODY to have to deal with my occasionally over-excited dog, especially in a public place. I’d never have even thought of bringing a dog (I’ve seen it twice now) in a restaurant. Hell, if a person came over my house who was uncomfortable with it acting up, I’d take him in the other room. And for those with actual service pets? You really should speak up, because the people who don’t have well trained dogs are going to lose you that privilege. *end rant

@vforvennndetta @avidseries Being a puppet is not the same as fulfilling his duties. We know this is true based on the catastrophic performance of the debate which tails pinned the election for Dems.

@avidseries Name one decision Biden made or one time when he was called on to do his job and was unable to that supports the claim that he was cognitively impaired. You can’t because there isn’t one, you stupid fuck.

Biden was clearly suffering from greater cognitive decline than Trump currently is. Trump's decline has more to do with deterioration in impulse control (which was never a strong suit of his to begin with) than in intellectual ability (also never a particularly strong suit of his). This makes him a less pathetic figure than Biden, but arguably a more dangerous one. Bottom line: People this old have no business being president of the world's most powerful country.

Trump is going mentally downhill just like Biden did at the same age. It manifests differently, but we can all see it.

@avidseries I'd say 80% is accurate. Centrist but I'd be lying if I didn't admit I was right leaning. Nowhere close to Maga but even further from the loons of progressive liberals.

I have a mix of conservative, liberal and centrist followers. It's not possible for me to tweet without making a decent percentage of my followers angry. But I'm wondering if you are in that very small percentage of my followers who find yourself agreeing with my tweets at least 80% of the time. If you are, please reply in the affirmative, and provide a brief description of your political orientation, if you don't mind.

Dozens of NBA players have been arrested for domestic violence, assault & battery, drug charges, aggravated assault with weapons, etc etc...... The NBA covers it up, sells their jerseys, & brands them as heroes. But if you dare question the LGBTQIA + religion........ that's the line. "To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize." Pretty telling.

@Cerebus77 @spooked75 No one said they were wrong. Narrowed, yes, but not necessarily wrong. That's why I was conflicted as I said in my original reply. They claimed to be a centrist but everything they put could be applied to both parties but they chose to offer a single-sided opinion. Example...

The word "communist" has lost all meaning in MAGA world. Let's fix that. What communism actually is: • State ownership of ALL means of production • Abolition of private property • No free markets • Single-party authoritarian rule What US Democrats actually support: • Capitalism with regulations • Private property rights • Free markets with safety nets • Multiple parties, free elections Communist parties in US Congress: 0 Socialist parties in US Congress: 0 Democratic Socialists (Bernie-style): ~5 out of 535 The Democratic Party would be center-right in most of Europe. Biden and Harris are capitalists. Always have been. But you call everything you don't like "communism" because: 1. You can't define it 2. You never learned political science 3. Fox/OAN/Newsmax told you scary words = Democrats 4. You're in a cult that requires an enemy "Do your own research" means YouTube videos. "Communist" means "thing I don't like." "Patriot" means "person in my cult." The states with the worst education rankings vote the most Republican. That's not a coincidence.

@ForkMeMaddie @tyromper Accountability" loses all meaning when it's selective. If a league penalizes speech more than physical violence (DV, assault), it isn't protecting a "culture of inclusivity", it’s protecting a PR image and prioritizes optics.

This is a false equivalency. The NBA isn’t drawing some random “line”—it’s protecting a culture built on inclusivity. Comparing criminal behavior to public statements that marginalize entire groups misses the point. Players have platforms, and with that comes responsibility. If you choose to say things that exclude or demean others, there are consequences—that’s not suppression, it’s accountability.

@spooked75 You're a volunteer in Ukraine and call yourself a centrist? Laughable. Every not you made could applied to both parties. I don't like Trump but I didn't uproot my life to avoid him either. You are an extremist with selective partisanship that facirs leftist views.

"Bernie wants free healthcare and education — that contradicts free markets." No it doesn't. That's an American lie you've been sold. Germany has free universities — even for international students. Universal healthcare. And a free market economy with private property, stock markets, BMW, Siemens, and billionaires. Still capitalist. Same with Norway, Denmark, France, Canada. All have universal healthcare and free or low-cost education. All are capitalist economies. Americans literally fly to Germany to get degrees for a few hundred euros instead of $100K in debt. Thousands do it every year. Social programs ≠ socialism. Public goods ≠ communism. The rest of the developed world figured this out decades ago. "Now do fascist for the left." Okay. Umberto Eco's 14 Features of Fascism: • Cult of tradition — "Make America Great Again" ✓ • Rejection of modernism/expertise — anti-science, anti-media ✓ • Disagreement is treason — "enemy of the people," RINOs ✓ • Fear of difference — immigrants, Muslims, trans people ✓ • Obsession with a plot — deep state, stolen elections, Q ✓ • Enemy is both strong and weak — Dems are idiots AND masterminds ✓ • Strongman cult of personality — golden Trump statue at CPAC ✓ • Selective populism — "real Americans," "silent majority" ✓ • Newspeak — "communist" means "thing I don't like" ✓ Now do Democrats: No cult leader. No mythic past. No strongman. No permanent enemy class. They criticize their own leaders constantly. Fascism doesn't describe the left. It describes MAGA. That's why scholars who actually study this keep pointing at Trump. I'm not pitching ideology. I'm a centrist calling out stupidity. The American model isn't the only one — it's just the one that profits off you while convincing you that anything better is "radical" and anyone who points it out is a "communist."

@Lilacs291089 @SMALLZRULES @paulie2720 @allenanalysis Simply pointing out the hypocrisy doesn't require a balanced point to be made. Trump's actions will cost him the midterms for his party. He's still not a king and the protests are hypocritical given it's hosted by a party that assigned their nominee.
