It's kind of striking how, apart from Iran, most of the Trump-related stories this summer have been boring and dumb (reflection pool, White House Correspondents' Dinner) or kind of funny (FIFA), maybe we're moving on from him being the central figure in American politics.

Muslims are required to perform five daily prayers at set times. If prayer time arrives while they are out, they may pray in any clean, quiet location, including a public park.

Families of 9/11 victims are urging organizers to bar New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani from attending the 25th anniversary ceremony at Ground Zero. More than 1,100 people, including over 300 relatives of victims, have signed a petition arguing that his public record and past associations make his presence inappropriate. The petition says the anniversary should remain focused on remembrance, unity, and honoring those murdered in the September 11 terrorist attacks.
