It’s really annoying that Denver is doing what they are doing to play hard ball to keep Peyton Watson.
It’s looking like Clippers are less likely to get Peyton now. They might have to shift focus elsewhere. And lock in Mathurin.

Cam Carr, Adou Thiero, Ziaire Williams & Jake Laravia are all age 24 or younger.
If we can trust at least 2 of those guys to play real minutes in a big playoff series, it changes everything.

@LakersInMyBlood @The_BBall_Index @Tim_NBA A huge problem with the Lakers defense last year and basically post AD trade was not finishing possessions with the defensive rebound
Adding better talent in this area should go a long way in making the team AT LEAST a top 15 defense to go along with top 3 offense

Been down on LA's non-Kessler guys on D. With @The_BBall_Index data, it appears the plan is to win the possession battle, have Grimes play POA in backcourt, Kuminga guard wings. Not a deep dive, but feels less alarming. @Tim_NBA am I underthinking this?

Of course defense will be the challenge but on the offensive end we are going to be so difficult to stop.
