@AdrianDittmann @brhodes Yea, yea, the same weapons they've been 'obtaining' for 30+ years?. Never happened, never will.

Yes there is: self defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and to counter Iran’s sponsorship of regional attacks.
As for threats and objectives:
US Objectives (Epic Fury):
> Eliminate imminent threats to Americans
> Destroy nuclear/military capabilities & prevent nukes
> Annihilate navy, missiles; regime change
Israel Objectives (Roaring Lion):
> Destroy missiles/launchers to protect home front
> Remove existential threat from regime
> Preemptive strike on defenses, arsenal, fleet

Tonight, we reached an agreement with the Department of War to deploy our models in their classified network.
In all of our interactions, the DoW displayed a deep respect for safety and a desire to partner to achieve the best possible outcome.
AI safety and wide distribution of benefits are the core of our mission. Two of our most important safety principles are prohibitions on domestic mass surveillance and human responsibility for the use of force, including for autonomous weapon systems. The DoW agrees with these principles, reflects them in law and policy, and we put them into our agreement.
We also will build technical safeguards to ensure our models behave as they should, which the DoW also wanted. We will deploy FDEs to help with our models and to ensure their safety, we will deploy on cloud networks only.
We are asking the DoW to offer these same terms to all AI companies, which in our opinion we think everyone should be willing to accept. We have expressed our strong desire to see things de-escalate away from legal and governmental actions and towards reasonable agreements.
We remain committed to serve all of humanity as best we can. The world is a complicated, messy, and sometimes dangerous place.

@SynthPotato Genuinely excited for the future of RPGs. I think titles like KCD2 are showing people what true immersion can mean within this genre. Hope this takes that to the next level.

We finally got a proper look at FABLE and it looks magnificent, this is a ridiculously detailed RPG and a real GOTY contender.
Here are the highlights:
- Character Creation CONFIRMED, Play as any character you want, and customize their outfits
- “The living population” thousands of NPCs have names, and schedules, and you can interact and talk to EVERY NPC
- Buy houses, Businesses, marrying multiple times, having many kids and get rich!
- Interactions with the people are back from the original games
- Romance villagers, get married and have kids
- First truly open world Fable, seamless travel with no loading
- Reputation is not a linear system, each action earns reputation towards a specific aspect and certain people will hate you or love you
- There are countless choices and some will even change the landscape COMPLETELY
- For example, if you choose to kill a giant in a quest, his corpse will stay outside the town which lowers the prices of all the houses in town, so the townspeople now hate you
- NPC lives are affected directly by you, you can be the landlord of an NPC then evict them, they’ll hate you and now be homeless
- NPCs comment on your morality and decisions
- Combat has one handed weapons, two handed and bows plus Magic!
- Light and heavy combos with finishers and abilities
- Fight different monsters, animals, undead and various factions
- Bowerstone is back and its a massive city to explore
- Story centers around the Cult of Shadows
- Fable launches Autumn 2026 on Xbox, PC and PS5
This just became one of my most anticipated games of the year, genuinely an insane looking RPG. I am so hyped.

@RinoTheBouncer @KingdomComeRPG Looking forward to what they'll produce next.

Mind-blowing how Kingdom Come Deliverance II delivered RDR2-level world detail, realism and quality made by a much smaller budget🚀
Warhorse are masters of this craft🥹 @KingdomComeRPG

@tsoding Yep. Certainly can. Been playing around with software rendering for years, just for the fun of it. Memory bandwidth is currently the biggest bottleneck.

Here is a random thought I've been having for a while already. People were making 3D games WITHOUT hardware acceleration in 1998. Surely today in 2025 CPUs are magnitudes more fast than in 1998.
So you can probably make a software rendered 3D game today that looks and performs much much better than Thief and don't have to deal with the bullshit that is the modern Graphics API and be EXTREMELY portable. It's not gonna be the cutting edge AAA gaming, but you can surely make something indie-ish cutesy low-poly no problem.
I feel like today it's more feasible than in 1998.

@SenatorCash How many eyes before we reach equality?

@Snack_Memories We had these in Australia. I worked in a supermarket and had just left home, circa 1990, at 17yo. I lived on the all cheese variant of this for months 😂
