“How will the #Bears replace the outgoing DBs & the INTs leaving with them?!!”😱 I will explain how. First, I’ll counter that question with “How good was Nashon Wright before he got to the Bears?” Anyone, Anyone? Buehler? Ok I’ll answer. Nashon Wright was a 2021 3rd rd pick by the #Cowboys. At the time Al Harris, Bears current DB coach, was in the same role with the Cowboys. (2020-2024) His rookie year (‘21) Nashon Wright appeared in 13 games & started 1 game. The Cowboys led the NFL in INTs in Al Harris’s 2nd season as DB coach with 26. Trevon Diggs led the NFL with 11, in his 2nd yr in the NFL. In 2022 the Cowboys drafted Daron Bland in the 5th rd. Bland appeared in 17 games & started 8 games his rookie year. Where was 2021 3rd rd pick Nashon Wright? In Dallas, he appeared in 7 games & started 2 games. Had 1 INT. In 2023 Daron Bland’s 2nd season he appeared in 17 games. He started 15. He made the Pro Bowl after notching 5 INTs & returning to the all for TDs (an NFL record). Trevon Diggs makes his 2nd Pro Bowl giving them 2 DB Pro Bowlers in ‘23 under Al Harris. Where was Nashon Wright? In Dallas, he appeared in 12 games, did not start any. In 2024 DaRon Bland injured himself in training camp misses 10 games. Where is Nashon Wright? He was traded to the #Vikings in August ‘24 just as preseason was set to begin. Bland remained a starter w/ Cowboys, Wright spent the ‘24 season on the Vikings practice squad. At this point in Wright’s career (2021-2024): 33 games played 3 starts 1 INT Fast forward to January 2025: Al Harris joins the Bears as DB coach under Ben Johnson in January 24th, 2025. Nashon Wright gets cut by Vikings April 7th, 2025. Bears sign Wright April 8th, 2025. Nashon Wright’s stats in ‘25 w/ Bears after reuniting with DB coach Al Harris: 17 games 16 starts 5 INTs Makes Pro Bowl So let’s put this together: ⭐️Al Harris is DB coach for Cowboys from 2020-2024. They lead the NFL in interceptions in ‘21 w/ 26 in his 2nd season as DB coach. Trevon Diggs leads NFL with 11 in his 2nd season & makes his 1st Pro Bowl in his 2nd season. ⭐️Al Harris is DB coach in ‘23 when 2nd year 5th rd pick Daron Bland has 5 INTs returned for TDs setting a new NFL record & makes his 1st Pro Bowl. Trevon Diggs makes his 2nd Pro Bowl giving them 2 DB Pro Bowlers in ‘23 under Al Harris. ⭐️ In April of 2025 Al Harris is the DB coach when the Bears picked up Nashon Wright who had done nothing of relevance in the NFL besides 3 starts in 4 years & 9 months later he’s turned into a Pro Bowl CB making his 1st pro bowl. ⭐️Al Harris is the Bears DB coach in ‘25 when their injury riddled secondary had to lean on Wright & his 3 starts in 4 seasons & CJGJ who they picked up off the streets mid-season & the team goes on to lead the NFL with 23 INTs in Harris’s 1st season as DB Coach. The common denominator for the Bears turnover success is not Wright who had 5 INTs , it’s not CJGJ who had 2 INTs, it’s not Brisker who had 1 INTs, & while the absence of a huge component in leadership & leading the Bears with 7 INTs will be felt, the common denominator is not even a vet Pro Bowl S like Byard. The common denominator in how the Bears will replenish the secondary & turnovers is Al Harris who has proven time & time again he can turn great players into elite, average players into Pro-Bowlers, & good secondary units into the BEST in the NFL in takeways. Put some respek on his name. 🐻⬇️😤

Adam Schefter basically shut down any Maxx Crosby to the #Bears speculation on ESPN “The Bears don’t have the money to make a move like that right now. They cannot afford it” He called the idea of them finding a way to free up a bunch of money a “fantasy”

Bad look for the McCaskeys that money is being talked about as an issue.

"The Bears don't have anymore money right now. They're broke. They're out of money." Schefter didn't even differentiate if he's referencing salary cap space or ownership cash on hand. But people are running wild with the old "cash poor owners" based on 5 seconds of a clip. "Bears ownership will never fire a coach in-season" -did it last year "Bears ownership can't afford Ben Johnson" -Paid him $13M per yr "But I believe Adam Schefter" -Okay, well he used the term broke. Which can mean bankrupt. Do you think Bears ownership will need to file for bankruptcy? Or do you think he was embellishing the story? -Schefter also said the Bears would get a 2nd round pick for Justin Fields "Poles was crazy for spending all that money for Dayo and Jarrett" vs "Now they can't spend money on DL because of ownership cash" -Pick a lane

Why is Ian Cunningham speaking on this? I want to hear from the head football guy!

#Falcons GM Ian Cunningham, on bringing in Tua Tagovailoa: "(Tua) knows he's coming in to compete. Like Michael (Penix Jr) knows he's coming in to compete."

I’ve had a few people ask me “what if the Raiders still want to trade Maxx even if he wants to stay now?” Sure, I suppose they could still shop him. And I still think it would be best for that franchise to trade him and fully rebuild. That seems unlikely in the near future, but we’ll see.

Expect the Las Vegas Raiders to show interest in Kirk Cousins as they look for a veteran QB addition to help develop presumptive No. 1 pick Fernando Mendoza.

"Maxx Crosby is back with the Raiders & they have already gotten several calls from teams.. I guess somebody could step in & make an offer now but I'm skeptical that he's gonna be moved.. I think this is a scenario where he ends up staying in Las Vegas" ~ @AdamSchefter #PMSLive

Am I the only one that isn’t mad at this? You buy something, the seller didn’t tell you it was broken, you have the right to give it back and get your compensation back… If I bought a Camaro , it was a lemon, I get my money back and go get a mustang, is that not fair?
