Don Krueger is just repeating what investors like Warren Buffet have always said which is that the majority of people cannot time the market. You are far better off just holding through ups and downs. Missing the best 10 days in a year causes you to go negative.

You missed my point. I was proving that people, like @LukeGromen , were more than successful at timing the market. That's a fact and no one can dispute that. I'm not a trader at all, mind you. I just call balls and strikes. @dotkrueger is wrong in his assumption that people can't time the market. It's possible - That cannot be disputed.

@LorenHodl @SixToEnergy his main point is that you can’t analyze bitcoin price with overfitted, complex models. To say Bitcoin price is likely to go down when it’s already dropped 15% is like saying it might rain if you see storm clouds.

I started to think I had a sales problem…
Which was odd because we had everything:
Big-name clients people know about…
Strong proof that match our leads' situations…
We’re even in a category of one with our service…
We were still signing new clients. But it felt… harder than it was supposed to.
I had a sneaky suspicion like there was a deeper problem I couldn’t see. So I paid a mentor to help me figure out what I was missing.
Turns out?
There was a deeper problem.
See, I never had any formal sales training. I’m not good at handling objections in real-time. This is why I became a marketer. I simply sold my own marketing services for over a decade and got a general idea of what all the sales gurus were talking about.
I’d try to write my own scripts and ask “what would happen in your life if you DON’T fix this problem right now?”
That never worked for me. I remember the CMO of one brand saying “I see what you’re doing but my advice is to stop.”
I thought of quitting so many times because I just couldn’t close.
But then I did one thing differently and everything changed...
I stopped following scripts or “pain digging” and just started doing what I do best…
THE ACTUAL WORK.
I’d hop on with the prospect, ask questions about their business, then start consulting them live on the call. I told them how to solve the problems I could see from the outside. I revealed the frameworks that people paid me for. I’d brainstorm ideas with them on the spot.
I started closing deals literally overnight.
Found out I was doing something called consultative selling. It’s where you give real value during the sales process before you even get paid.
But I slowly started to veer away from that, abd I need to take the consultative selling approach even further.
So we’re tripling down:
I’m building a master audit that scores each step in a YouTube ecosystem, from the first click to the point of sale. I am going to run our dream clients through this audit and just send it to them for free.
Before a sales call, I’m going to prepare slide decks with the problems I can see from the outside and real solutions. Tangible strategy shifts, winning video ideas, and even redesigned thumbnails or script section rewrites.
For our current clients, I’ll be analyzing their actual business every month, sending them ideas and suggestions that can help them grow. This is outside the scope of our deals, but I’m just going to do it as a value-add.
The best positioning is when you focus on someone’s problem and how to actually solve it. This changes their impression of you and improves everything that comes after.
Well, this is my new theory at least. If you have any suggestions or ideas then I’d love to hear them. I’ll let you know if this ends up working or if I just do a bunch of “free work” for nothing.

Lightning McQueen was asked “when you showed up to your first race, how did you know you could do it?”
And in the most nonchalant tone he goes, “idk I just never thought I couldn’t.”
It sounds silly but that’s the energy we all need right now.
We’re in the middle of one of the biggest wealth transfers in history and most people are just watching. Waiting for more certainty, more validation, more time that they don’t actually have.
The people who are going to make it in this shift aren’t the smartest or most experienced, they’re just the ones who never entertained the alternative.

100,000 views in 10 days on YouTube 🔥
This video makes me proud for three reasons:
1. Our baseline views are increasing. We aim to get ~30% of a channel’s subscribers in views at a minimum. This is a sign of a healthy, recurring audience. We’re hitting this for the videos we fully produce.
2. We have to raise our standards soon. 100,000 organic views has always been our checkpoint for “going viral.” It’s time to think bigger and raise the bar for this one.
3. My strategist @KyleAM15 created this thumbnail concept. He used our concept splicing theory and created something original. It’s paying off. He’s just an unhinged kid from Scotland who plays with sheep… and now I’d argue he’s becoming one of the industry’s best strategists that nobody knows about yet. But that’s starting to change (story for another day).
I love writing these because it reminds me of how far we’ve come…
Just me, Tim, and Asim fumbling our way through getting this off the ground…
We had TONS of embarrassing screw ups that dare not ever become public.
But we managed to pull through and get results, one by one…
Now, we’ve got a fully functioning creative team…
AND THEY’RE GETTING REALLY GOOD.
Nothing makes me happier than this.
