Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok have all moved to make Zionist a protected class under hate speech, with Meta’s policy update in 2024 explicitly treating “Zionist” as a proxy for Jews in hateful contexts, overseen by Jewish executives like Jordana Cutler (Meta’s Public Policy Director for Israel and the Jewish Diaspora), Adam Mosseri (head of Instagram), and Mark Zuckerberg (CEO). I'm thrilled Core mainainer Gloria Zhao has been summarily shown the door. She never was a Bitcoiner; did not understand that Bitcoin was money, and could not grasp the damage arbitrary data and jpegs did to the network. There are clowns that want to somehow paint hardcore Bitcoin Maxis like myself responsible for "driving" her out the door. That's bullshit. She did tremendous damage to Core as an institution without any help. And she never understood that if the narrative about her was wrong, it was on her to fix it. My Dad use to say, "Don't let the door hit you on the way out."
