Florida assistant principal arrested for DUI for riding an e-bike while intoxicated. The incident came after Kenneth Bevan Jr. was asked to leave a local bar. Deputies reportedly warned him not to ride the e-bike. After leaving the bar, deputies watched him as he walked his bike to a 7-Eleven. At the 7-Eleven, he purchased a 12-pack of Budweiser, placed it in the e-bike basket, and rode off. He was then stopped and arrested. Pretty wild that children are allowed to ride 20+ mph e-bikes in the street, but a grown adult can't ride one after having some beers.

Let me stop this "Flock tracks people" conspiracy. Let's take my city for example. We have 8 cameras. All cameras are in points of entry & exit into the city. So, as u enter or exit your tag is read, a distant photo of your vehicle is taken, & the camera u passed by is logged. ALL that info is deleted after 30 days. If u are wanted, the car is stolen, u are on the terrorist list, u are a missing or endangered person, or have warrants, every police car in the city is notified. All that info pops up on my screen. Now, here is the important part. Once you pass that camera I have no idea where u are within the city until u pass by the next one. No city has cameras on every single corner to "track" you. That's a complete BS lie that got started & took off. There are many versions of flock cameras. The cameras used by law enforcement DO NOT track or record people or their movements. Vehicles only. Other versions of Flock cameras that do record people are a whole different animal & I am not familiar with because ALPR, which again are what most cities use, DO NOT have people capabilities.

I’m a retired firefighter who’s seen more death and destruction than most people could bear. I carried children who never woke up, told families their loved ones were gone, and stood in the ashes of lives that ended in minutes. Then I went home and stayed silent. We hide the pain so we can keep showing up for those who still need us. Behind every act of courage is a heavy, silent burden we carry so others don’t have to. Every time I try to cooperate with another white dude, my heart gets broken. Guys I grew up with. Frat bros from college. My fellow whites get really awkward whenever I try to create a win-win long-term mutually beneficial relationship. It’s not part of our culture. As far as I can tell, it’s a part of Chinese culture and Jewish culture. Chinese will be like “let’s be friends” and that doesn’t mean we’re going to be going fishing together. It means we are going to favor trade for mutual benefit. Jews will be like “oh he’s Jewish” and there is now a bond and a mutual understanding on which bread can be broken and business can be built. But the rest of the whites? “Let’s cooperate” is met with massive distrust and hesitation, almost fear. What the fuck. Do you realize how much that holds us all back? I’m not saying we should be conspiring here. Just I scratch your back, you scratch mine. I’m fine with helping you 10% more than you help me. So long as you don’t take too much I’ll give no problem. This might be happening in the churches, I don’t know. I think it’s happening with the gays, but again, don’t know. Okay so let’s do this. I’m open for business. You help me, I’ll help you. I’m not perfect, but I’ll do my best. And that goes for everyone, doesn’t matter who you are. If you’re a good person, I am here for you, just hit me back every now and again.
