Yes! We deploy Insta360 X4 rigs on workers in German automotive manufacturing and our own professional kitchens, chest or head mounted, full shifts. Raw footage goes through our pipeline (Depth Anything V2, hand pose, SAM, Ego4D action labels via Gemma 4). First pilot starting now with an automotive parts supplier. Curious what annotation layers you’d prioritize, especially depth and pose?

@moonlake This is super interesting. We’re working on capturing real human work in kitchens and factories — egocentric video, objects, tasks, workflows. A tool like this could turn scanned real workstations into interactive worlds for training and evaluating Physical AI.

Dudes will go autistically deep into the AI supply chain to find some alpha instead of going to therapy
bubble boi@bubbleboi

You think the AI bottleneck is HBM. You think it’s CoWoS. You think it’s GB200 cables or 800G optics or the Arizona power grid. You are looking at the wrong layer of the stack…. The REAL bottleneck is epoxy resin paste. Specifically, Liquid Compression Molding compound EME-G, a goopy, beige, photosensitive thermosetting resin that gets squeegeed onto HBM stacks before the mold press comes down and cures it. Without this paste, the silicon dies in an HBM stack delaminate, the TSVs crack, and your $40,000 GPU becomes an expensive paperweight. Sumitomo Bakelite (4203.T) makes roughly 90% of the world’s supply. The other 10% is split between Nagase ChemteX and Hitachi Chemical, both of whom buy precursor chemicals from Sumitomo Bakelite. The moat is vertical. The resin formulation is a trade secret developed over 38 years of iteration. It contains a specific ratio of silica filler to bisphenol-F epoxy with a coefficient of thermal expansion tuned to within 0.3 ppm/°C of silicon. Get the ratio wrong by 2% and the HBM stack warps during reflow. Samsung tried to qualify a domestic Korean alternative in 2022. They failed. SK hynix tried in 2023. They failed. Micron didn’t even try. Sumitomo Bakelite ships approximately $180M of EME-G annually at a gross margin of 74%. Each HBM stack consumes roughly $6 of resin. As Nvidia’s roadmap points to more and more HBM stacks the math is clear. Feynman GPU package has 8 HBM stacks. That’s $48 of Sumitomo Bakelite content in a $70,000 GPU. They are 0.07% of the BOM and 100% of the bottleneck. This is the most asymmetric pricing power in the entire AI supply chain and they are charging like it’s commodity epoxy because the company is run by Japanese chemical engineers who think 8% annual price increases are aggressive. In Q3 of 2026 the Nvidia Rubin Ultra ramp is scheduled and will trigger an EME-G shortage. Sumitomo Bakelite will have to raises prices 35%. The stock will get re-rated from “specialty chemicals” to “AI infrastructure.” Multiple expansion from 14× P/E to 38× P/E. It’s a three-bagger in 18 months and the stock is up >3% YTD.

The kids are finally down. House is quiet. Wife's asleep. And you're sitting on the couch doing absolutely nothing useful, and you know it, and you're doing it anyway. Not because you're not tired. You're exhausted. But this is the first hour all day where nobody needs you to do anything or find anything or explain why we don't eat ice cream before dinner. So you just... sit in it. Stretch it out. One more episode. Ten more minutes of scrolling through things you won't remember tomorrow. You've done this probably a thousand times and it has never once made you feel better. You wake up groggy, already behind, already at a seven before anything's even gone wrong. The patience you needed to bank last night got traded for two hours of half-asleep YouTube. And the version of you your kids get the next morning is the taxed one, the flat one, the one who snaps over something small and then feels bad about it while making their lunch. What's actually happening is you're confusing rest with reclaiming something. Like if you stay up long enough you'll eventually feel like a full person again instead of just a guy who works and parents and goes to bed and does it again. But that feeling never really comes. There's no amount of late-night nothing that actually fills it back up. You know this. You do it anyway. The only thing that actually helps is sleep, which is such a boring answer that you resist it every single night. So try this. Around ten o'clock, ask yourself whether what you're doing is actually recharging you or whether you're just putting off going to bed because going to bed means tomorrow starts sooner. Most nights it's the second one. Close the phone. Go to sleep. The morning will be different. Not perfect. Just different. That's worth something.

It's funny how AI has made white collar work 10x faster already but there's been basically no economic impact from it. The reason is quite simple: 1. Most white collar work is bullshit, so speeding it up by 10x still equals a pile of bullshit at the end 2. Most white collar employees are using AI to do all their work for the week in 4 hours instead of 40, whilst telling their manager the deadline is still 40 hours away We have been living in a fake economy for the better part of two decades. It is all a fugazi. People who do real jobs in the real world get paid comparatively crap, and people who do fake jobs in the fiat Ponzi world get paid just enough fiat currency to pretend they are important. None of it amounts to anything productive nor valuable for the world though. An entire generation doing fake email jobs, slide decks and excel sheets for corporations who ultimately produce nothing.

I saw the future on acid years ago. The key is customer acquisition cost. As AI allows every megacorp to perfectly compete with every other megacorp, the only advantage will be data. All of the services will plummet in price (how does a service economy exist when service is becoming free?) So how can they get more data from you? By building smart cities. Giant corporate buildings. Toilets that monitor your shits to give you ads based on your gut health. Cameras that watch you at all time. Learning. Watching. Examining. Targeting with ads. You can live in the Apple building or the Google building or the Tesla building, they'll have different aesthetics. Rent will be free, because your data is more valuable than your living expenses. The financialization of everything will have made it that there is no way your work can match the top end value of your data. You'll eat corporate slop for free in your corporate home. The quality of living will be great compared to history, but nowhere near the exorbitant power of the men at the top. They will be playing at a planetary level. You'll have dozens of AIs you interact with daily, and you'll exist as the powerhouse of the AI. The world will be build to sell you urges and cater to them. You will be watched. You will be monetized. You will be the mitochondria of the superintelligence. Your work will be valueless. Your data will be traded on blockchain. Commoditized. Securitized. Collateralized. Life will never be the same. We will exist as ants within a hypercapitalist megastructure that is looking to colonize new planets. We will be the Earth Corporation.

And after voting that out too... 🇪🇺 ChatControl is back with a vengeance The Conservatives (EPP) are attempting to force a new vote TODAY (March 26) seeking to reverse the European Parliament's NO on indiscriminate scanning of ALL your private messages, emails and photos This is a direct attack on democracy and blatant disregard for your right to privacy If you're European contact your representatives now, with this handy form: #contact-tool" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">fightchatcontrol.eu/?foo=bar#conta… If not, please share this tweet so more people see it and we can block the vote It's crazy they keep just bringing back whatever they want until it's passed! Obviously now we see the European Commission is controlled by powerful evil lobbying groups 👺

Just a month later and... 🇪🇺 ChatControl is back! Now they're trying to pass an even more far reaching ChatControl law through the back door, in a form even more intrusive than the originally rejected plan, without needing any of the EU countries votes The new proposal: - total mandatory surveillance of ALL text chats, emails and social media in the EU - obligatory registration of your ID/passport to your chat, email or social media account - minimum age requirement for chat, email and social media apps of 16 (!) The only way to stop this law is if EU countries veto it Read more here by @echo_pbreyer: patrick-breyer.de/en/chat-contro…

ASMLs Milliarden-Monopol wackelt.

Just came across LeWorldModel (LeWM) – a 15M param JEPA-based world model trained fully end-to-end from pixels, no EMA, no stop-grad, no crazy losses. Runs planning in <1s on a single GPU and already beats much bigger models on PushT / OGBench. This feels like the direction Yann LeCun has been pushing for years finally showing serious real-world results. Paper & code: le-wm.github.io Original post: x.com/lucasmaes_/sta… Is this the right path forward for scalable world models? 🤔

I could work with 1 single Claude Code tab if it responded 100x as fast But now it takes 1-3 minutes sometimes Once that's 1-3 seconds it's fast enough for me to just keep going in a single tab But now I get blocked by how relatively slow AI is (I mean way faster than a human but you get me)
gus@saidgust

@levelsio That’s actually a big one for me, and I bet for most people… aren’t we better off single tasking at the end of the day? Working with AI agents almost “demand” that you multitask given its capabilities, but I usually end up spinning in the end 🫠
