@MHarrisonW The fact that they come here on temporary visa's and build a life with marriage & children tells you their intention from the start was to game the system and use the weak visa process for permanent residency.

The State Department must stop renewing and extending temporary visas. They only develop into permanent non-citizens.

Marco Rubio just went from the top of the Republican Ticket in 2028 to basically a nobody in a matter of moments. All by putting Immigrants over Americans. What happened to putting ‘Americans First’ to “Make America Great Again”?

Indians shouldn't be "building a life here" while on a student visa or other temporary visa. When I lived in Germany for a year as a student, I didn't "build a life" there. I was there for a year, then I went back home to my life in the USA. You visit, then leave.

@Soothsayr @RationalBlonde @ericweinstein Because you brought that up, I've been reading the Testimony of Mr. Stephen Yale-Loehr September 16, 2003. Is there a better source that you would recommend for more information?

H-1B was built in 1990 when your “talent pool” was whoever could drive to your office. There was no Zoom. No remote. Three decades later, that excuse is dead. We’re laying off tech workers en masse. If your pitch is “not one American can do this so we need the visa,” that's not a shortage, that's a discount.

It's not racism, Rubio, you traitor. Rubio was born to 2 non-U.S. citizens so Rubio is an anchor baby. When Vivek spits out hatred to Heritage Americans or when a gazillion H1Bs get hired & Americans get fired, Rubio is basically calling our righteous American anger "stupid".
AF Post@AFpost

Marco Rubio says the people who are “racist” towards Indians are “stupid”, saying Indians have “enriched” America. Follow: @AFpost

@DerekAyala1987 Rubio was being diplomatic! We know he thinks the same what we think about the third worlders! He is not saying out loud to make them look bad. But he was their to shame them and make them feel guilty about their obnoxious attitude and stupid culture!

There is nothing that third-world immigrants can contribute to America that is worth America becoming more third-world.

@hypocane @arctotherium42 @avidseries An immigrant that is in the top 20% of your pop in wage, skill set or intelligence, is a good immigrant. Indians in the US are the #1 income group by a factor 2. They are much better than in the top 20%. You're just coping because you have no skill and no intelligence

Ohio needs to ensure that Vivek Ramaswamy is never elected as Governor. Today, is a solid indicator why. Never.

@Soothsayr @MHarrisonW Not true. You state your intentions right up front. A fiance or spouse waiting outside the country has made it clear they intend to settle permanently.

Green card holders often abuse the system. The daughter of a Central American family whom I knew migrated to California and obtained a green card. Then, she brought her parents. The father was a chronic diabetic and required dialysis. Guess who paid for that expensive treatment?

@ConBee66 @MHarrisonW The legal point made in that boards appeals decision THAT HOLDS for future adjudication is what i said exactly, intent can be assumed to change AFTER adjudication and borcar admission. It’s not about your feelings, it’s about the law.

@Dionysia1349940 @iaproject @RepMikeQuigley Under immigration law, an applicant's intent is evaluated primarily at two specific snapshots in time: when they apply for the visa and when they cross the border. It is not an ongoing, permanent psychological contract that forbids you from ever changing your mind later

You should get your facts straight, @RepMikeQuigley. The rule applies to NONIMMIGRANTS, not immigrants. An immigrant already has a green card. A nonimmigrant comes to the US on a temporary visa, and in most cases, by law, has to prove to a consular official that he intends to return home once the visa expires. No one who comes here on a temporary nonimmigrant visa has a right to stay permanently.
Mike Quigley@RepMikeQuigley

The Trump administration is now telling people who entered the country legally to “go home” and apply for green cards there. These are immigrants already legally working in the United States.   It was never about illegal immigration.
