#1 write in vote winner in my small voting precinct last night: Jesus Christ. This is a detail that only election judges get to see, as the published results don't list off everyone that got a write in. I've done this for years, had not seen this happen before. ♥️✝️

met with the principal of a small local religious school about enrolling our daughter and it was great except he dropped that we would have to sign a covenant acknowledging the set of beliefs we'd be teaching a home or get expelled and it was like 30 pages long protestants man

Hello @Jeremyakee. I have seen your posts seeking to find a wife. I have decided to begin, for you, what I lovingly call the "nuclear novenas." I will update every day, I have already begun it for you this evening, and yeah IT IS kinda weird that a random midwest Catholic church lady is reaching out a random Catholic X user she's never met - but we church ladies really love getting in there and trying to help nice Catholic folks find one another and get married (and have babies.). So, here we go, new brother in Christ. Let's see where things stand 54 days from now, on June 6th if my math is right. My prediction: We're gonna be glorifying God at the top of our lungs. 🙏❤️

Many people (including many non-Catholic Christians, and even self-proclaimed Catholics) are deeply annoyed and even hateful of the Catholic Church because Her claims interrupt the relativism they take for granted and live by—the relativism that is simply the air we breathe as modern people. Against these often hidden and unexamined pretensions, the Church says: “No, these things you assume are yours to determine, are NOT.”

If I can ask all of you to pray for my wife please? Many of you know she has Chrones disease and diverticulitis. Many will remember that last January she had a medical emergency where she was rushed in for short bowel reduction surgery because her intestines were completely impacted caused by the chrones disease. Well as of blood work yesterday, and then her being called back into have nore blood drawn today, its possible that she may have stage 2 kidney disease. More tests need to be done. Please pray for my wife. I have been with her through cancer, chrones, and now this. I want so badly for her just to feel better for once. And pray for me as well, im trying to stay strong, but I also just want to cry.

Everyone, if you could, please pray for my dad. He's having his hips replaced on Monday early in the morning. I'm not trying to jinx it, but I've just not had a good feeling about it from the beginning. Please pray the surgery goes well and that he is able to fully recover. It's unfortunately not something he can go without. He can barely walk and his quality of life has been significantly diminished.

NEW: The gay man with a surrogate baby is standing by his video of his baby saying 'Mama' following online backlash, tells the Daily Mail that he finds the video "hilarious." 51-year-old Grammy Award winner Shane McAnally says he and his husband find the video "hilarious." "We found it hilarious. He's five months old, he obviously doesn't understand English." "I was appalled by what some people have been saying. Some people have taken it out of context." "Babies usually say dada first, but people wouldn't then say the babies are only wanting their dads? It doesn't really make sense." Every child deserves a mother.
Collin Rugg@CollinRugg

Gay man with a husband posts video of his baby asking for "Mama" before 'laughing' in the comment section about the idea of throwing "it away" and starting over. Commenter: "Throw it away and start over." Shane McAnally: "😂😂😂" The baby was born via surrogate in October 2025. McAnally, 51, who shared the footage on his Instagram page, is a country singer-songwriter.

Do any of you know much about Restored Order with the sacraments? Looking into CCD for our oldest since he’ll be starting next year and saw our diocese uses this practice so he’ll do two years of prep starting in first grade then at the end of third he gets his First Communion and Confirmation at the same time. I’ve never heard of this so I’m curious how common it is

From the mouths of babes - do read this story and consider: 1) You should pray for everything all the time that you need and; 2) you should be specific. I am not above adding to my prayers "and i need that RIGHT NOW." This is important because you will learn how very often God says yes when you ask, and you will also come to understand, when the answer is no, that there must be a reason for that no, because He has said yes so many times before.
Melissa the Hopeful🏠Homemaker@BiblicalBeauty

Helen Roseveare, a missionary who faced intense suffering and persecution during her 20 years of service in the Congo, shares one of the times that she saw God answer prayer in a most unexpected way: "I went to have prayers with our orphanage children as I did every day, and any of the children wanted gathered around me for prayer time, and I'd give them different things to pray about. And this particular day, I told the children of this tiny baby and asked them to pray for the nurses that they would stay awake all night to keep that baby warm. If the baby got cold, it would die. I mentioned that the baby had a 2-year-old sister who was crying because her mommy had died. I mentioned the burst hot water bottle. During prayer time, different children prayed for different things, and then one little 10-year-old girl, Ruth, she prayed in the usual blunt way of our African children, 'Please, God, send us a hot water bottle. Now, God, it'll be no good tomorrow. Send it this afternoon. Now, if it comes tomorrow, the baby will be dead.' I'm sort of swallowing hard, and she said, 'While you're about it, God, would you send a dolly for the little 2-year-old sister, so she'll know that Jesus really loves her?' And that afternoon, the parcel came. It was the first parcel I ever, I've been out there four years, I'd never had a parcel from home. And despite the fact I live on the equator, somebody packing that parcel had been prompted by God to put in a hot water bottle, and a child from my Bible class at home had put in a dolly for a little girl. And it came that afternoon in answer to a 10 year-old child's prayer, and the amazing thing was, you know, that parcel had been on the way five months to get to us. It had left England in July, and it came that afternoon, cause a child prayed."

Horrible seeing Elina Vähälä’s $1-million Guadagnini violin get knocked out of her hands by conductor Matthew Halls. Halls was fired by the Oregon Bach Festival in 2017 for "alleged discrimination against women and a person of color", maybe a second chance for him was a bad idea.

I typically love the NPs and PAs I see - typically. But I have absolutely taken note that the prices of the visits keep going up, the amount of time spent at a visit keeps going down, and the medical industrial complex is using cheaper labor with NPs and PAs and none of that savings is being passed through to the patients. They need the extra profit margin here to pay more administrators to collude with insurance companies to make our care more expensive and lower quality. :(
