PM is traveling abroad to secure investments and ensure energy security in this period of economic gloom due to various global wars. It is one thing to know that, as a contender of PM post over the last 16 years, you don't have the intellectual capacity to understand this. However, I am intrigued to see your irritation towards promoting a reputed Indian brand (Parle). Is it because you don't want Indian brands to be showcased on the global stage? Or are you disgruntled by your intelligence (or lack of it), which has kept you puzzled over why melody is chocolaty?

In Tamil, 'casteism' roughly translates to 'Saathiyavaatham'. If Udaynidhi Stalin had said, 'I am against Saathiyavatham' no one would have said anything. But he specifically chose to use a word which the Madurai HC itself has identified as an alternative name for Hinduism. 'Sanathanam means casteism' - says who? Udaynidhi Stalin? How is he an authority on anything related to Hinduism?
Muthukrishnan Dhandapani@dmuthuk

Some in my timeline are saying what Udayanidhi meant was eradication of casteism. Then let him explicitly say so. Why mention the term Sanathana Dharma, which is another name for Hinduism? If Udayanidhi thinks this would bring back minority votes from Vijay, he is grossly mistaken.

Udhaynidhi Stalin’s remark, that Sanatana Dharma must be eradicated, has already been adjudged by courts as “hate speech and a clear attack on Hinduism carrying implications akin to genocide”. Today, inside the Tamil Nadu assembly, Stalin repeated the statement. No one objected.

What TN has shown today, rest of India has been doing for decades. Hindu majority states of Rajasthan, Bihar, Assam, Maharashtra and even Manipur have had Muslim Chief Ministers. Hindu majority Andhra Pradesh, Goa and Kerala have given many Christian Chief ministers. TN is just a new entry to that old club. But the real question worth probing is: how many Muslim majority or Christian majority states have given any Hindu Chief Minister? Zero. Forget Chief Minister, how many Hindu MPs or MLAs have ever been elected from a Muslim majority or Christian majority lok sabha or vidhan sabha seats?? Next to Zero.
Rajdeep Sardesai@sardesairajdeep

A Qs for those living outside Tamil Nadu: would any other major state welcome as chief minister in today’s India someone whose full name is Chandrasekaran Joseph Vijay . What TN has shown today, may India do tomorrow: respect our unique multi-religious, multi-cultural diversity and give everyone a fair shot at their dreams. ⭐️👍

A few days ago, Smt Shanawaz garu, a native of Vayalpadu in Annamayya district, shared a heartfelt video seeking help to return safely to India from Oman after facing serious difficulties there. After this issue came to my notice, I requested the Ministry of External Affairs @MEAIndia to kindly intervene and extend all possible support for her safe return. I express my heartfelt gratitude to the @MEAIndia , whose swift response, constant coordination, and humanitarian approach made this possible. I also sincerely thank the Indian Embassy @Indemb_Muscat officials and the Oman Authorities @Oman_GC for their timely support and cooperation in ensuring her safe return to our motherland. My appreciation also goes to the Janasena Gulf cadre, NDA alliance cadre, and the APNRT Association, who continuously stood by her and coordinated throughout the process. I am happy to share that last night she safely landed in Hyderabad, visited my office today, and has now been safely sent to her residence. NDA Government led by esteemed and dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, India has consistently stood firmly with every Indian citizen across the globe during times of crisis. Whether during the Iran-Israel conflict, the Ukraine war, or other emergency situations across the world, the Government of India has taken extraordinary efforts to safely bring back Indians and ensure their protection. This reflects our nation’s strong commitment and responsibility towards every Indian, no matter where they are. The Andhra Pradesh Government also remains committed to standing by every Telugu individual across the globe during times of distress. Thanks to Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri @ncbn garu for his continued support. To every Indian facing difficulties in any part of the world, please remember that you are not alone. We are always here to serve you, support you, and stand by you in every possible way. It is our duty and responsibility to help our people wherever they are. @PMOIndia @AndhraPradeshCM

Every claim in your post collapses against the documented record. On 24 January 1950, the Constituent Assembly you quote, presided by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, formally resolved that Vande Mataram shall have equal status with Jana Gana Mana. The Constitution you wave defeats you. Tagore rejected it? He set Vande Mataram to music and sang it at the 1896 Calcutta Congress. Bose rejected it? He made it the INA's war cry, broadcast it on Azad Hind Radio. Muslims rejected it? Ashfaqullah Khan went to the gallows reciting it. Hasrat Mohani, who gave India 'Inquilab Zindabad', defended it. Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan led marches with it. Bankim served the British? The British BANNED Vande Mataram, jailed singers, opened fire on processions chanting it. You are not protecting Muslims. You are erasing the Muslims who helped build India.
Asaduddin Owaisi@asadowaisi

Vande Mataram is an ode to a goddess. It cannot be treated on par with the national anthem. Jana Gana Mana celebrates India and its people, not a particular religion. Religion ≠ nation. The man who wrote Vande Mataram was sympathetic to the British Raj and despised Muslims. Netaji Bose, Gandhi, Nehru, and Tagore all rejected it. The Preamble to the Constitution of India begins with “We, the People” — not “Bharat Maa”. It promises “liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship”. The very first provision of the Constitution, Article 1, describes “India, that is Bharat” as a Union of States. In the Constituent Assembly, some members wanted the Preamble to begin in the name of a goddess; they specifically invoked Vande Mataram. Others wanted it to begin “In the name of God” and to replace “its citizens” with “her citizens”. All these amendments were defeated. India, that is Bharat, is its people. The nation is not a goddess; it does not run in the name of a god or goddess, and it does not belong to one god or goddess. timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/cabinet-…

The Bengali word for "rainbow" is Ramdhonu, which means "Lord Ram’s bow." For thousands of years, Bengalis have referred to it by this name. In 2017, in West Bengal school textbooks, "Ramdhonu" was replaced by the word Rongdhonu, which means "bow of colors." This word was not a part of traditional Bengali language and Mamata govt introduced it specifically to replace "Ram"dhonu. To make matters worse, Rongdhonu comes from Bangladesh, where the Islamic government has been using it instead of Ramdhonu since they came into existence as an Islamic country. Imagine the scale of appeasement!

Did you see the Indian Muslim League party in Kerala? They won 22 out of 22 seats. Not a single Hindu or Christian is in that party. Who voted for this religious party? Kerala Muslims voted them for Ummah. These clowns talk about education and secularism. Kerala is a terrorist-owned state. #ElectionResult2026

Remember this face? She was an 85-year-old Shova Majumdar, who was beaten mercilessly by TMC goons ahead of the 2021 West Bengal elections, simply because her son was a BJP worker. She later died from her injuries. At that time, the so-called 'save constitution, save democracy' brigade chose to remain mere spectators.

No matter who won or lost in each state, India's democracy has won yet again. And @ECISVEEP has once again done a tremendous job running elections for 4+ states - with almost the population of the US voting. TVK's tremendous performance, INC's win in Kerala, and BJP routing an unpopular TMC in Bengal - all happened because India gave the power of vote to every citizen equally and fairly. Next time, please don't fall for foreign psyops amplified by local politics that India's institutions are compromised, elections are rigged, or voting should be in paper. The foreign forces and DS are trying to game India's democracy and make it malleable to them. Your favorite politician and party may win because of it temporarily. But in the end, it is India and you who will lose in the long term. The foreign adversary will win without having to fire a bullet just making us doubt our institutions and hate our governments.
