🚌 NEW SUPERLOOP BUS! TfL has confirmed a new Superloop route along the South Circular, connecting Clapham Junction, Clapham South, Streatham, Brixton Hill, Tulse Hill, West Dulwich and Eltham. A key pledge in our 2022 manifesto & great to see the @MayorofLondon backing it!

The fire service is in attendance at Worthington House on Tulse Hill after a large fire earlier this afternoon. Traffic in the surrounding area is likely to be impacted as crews remain on scene into the evening. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

We have reported this - very alarming to think what might have happened had a pedestrian been standing by the crossing at the time. This is why we continue to push @TfL for a full redesign of the Gyratory, as well as interim measures such as speed cameras & traffic calming.

There are no words to fully express my shock and deep sadness at the sudden passing of Dr Aysha Raza - respected neuroscientist and passionate defender of the NHS, a tireless campaigner for equality - and Ealing Council’s first ever Muslim woman Cabinet Member. Aysha was a dear and loyal friend who worked relentlessly, not only for her beloved community in Ealing, where she served as a councillor for over a decade, but for social justice everywhere. Her commitment to fairness and compassion was unwavering, and her impact will be felt for years to come. She was a cherished daughter, sister, friend and councillor. She had an amazing sense of humour and a moral compass that made me proud to call her a friend, an adviser and an ally. My heartfelt condolences go out to her mum, family, friends and to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire us all.

We will be writing in support of this proposal - finally St Martin’s estate residents will be able to cross safely by Roycroft close and make full use of the lovely new cycle path that was delivered as part of the Healthy Route programme last year.
