@Steph_ghislain @EU_Commission hi @Steph_ghislain, the proposals fell though at the end of 2023, they were not delivered despite the promises and all the work, so we need to be cautious with such broad, non-binding statements and keep the pressure.

It is welcoming to see for the first time a promise on a concrete timeline after such a long delay to better protect millions of animals. Commissioner @OliverVarhelyi clearly stated his intention to have the first legislative proposals out in 2026: bit.ly/3DzSFDF
